well, nearly all of them would've been younger, when people did send letters. Like Charles himself. It isn't that long ago. Besides, I could imagine my ex' father doing it. He's kind of snobbish, to put it in writing would be the way to go for him. He wouldn't want to speak to me, is the point, because I'm a commoner.
