Exactly. There was a combined 7 turnovers, 3 defensive touchdowns, 7 punts, and 7 sacks. Both teams just have historically good offenses that can score at a fever pitch. Combine that with the new NFL rules making it illegal to play tough defense, I thought both teams played really as good of defense as you could ask against the offense they were facing.

Mcvay obviously one of best offensive minds in football, but you don't know, not watch football if you can't recognize Goff's skill! Dude is dropping dimes into tight windows like Brady. Doesn't get the hype because he's not as "fun" to watch as mahomes. But Goff is more impressive to me. Alex Smith had #1 passer rating in NFL in Reid system last year!!!! I've never seen a more wide open, free flowing system than the chiefs right now. Don't get me wrong, mahomes has taken the chiefs to another level and is already way better Smith but I think Reid system benefits mahomes more than Goff is being benefited from mcvays system.

This was one of the most enjoyable game to watch, as a spectator. It has: Lots of action and big yard throws, and rushes... Multiple sacks... Lots of turnovers... Highest Monday night football score EVER, 3rd highest in the NFL... Two of the top teams of the league... Two great running backs and quarter backs... I mean what more would you want?

Defenses need to focus on take aways now instead of stopping or limiting yards, the defense that wins their high powered offens another possession will be considered a great defense in the new NFL.

Buffalo fan here. Was pumped when we drafted Woods. Then watched as he was terribly underutilized for years. Truly happy to see him getting a hell of a chance elsewhere. He never had a 700 yd season as a Bill. And soon he woud've had back-to-back 1,000 yd seasons if not for last year's injury.

Media gushes over guys like mahomes, Watson and wentz because they will run around and gun sling it. It's "fun" to watch. Goff reminds me of Brady. Stands tall and calm in pocket. Isn't as "fun" to watch as mahomes Watson and wentz, but out there carving up defenses and dropping dimes. To me, it's more impressive than what I've seen from those other guys. I'm not even a Goff fan per say and definitely not a rams fan.

Notice the Rams offense scored the same they did on New Orleans. 38. They couldn't get to Brees to force any turnovers for defensive TD' S Like they did with Mahones. The defensive TD' S WAS the difference maker for both teams.
