@@unskilledshark Volume 9 that closes the baile de la muerte arc came out in 2009, the following arc wired red wild card started in 2010 stopping in chapter 4. Coming back with a couple chapters in 2013 closing volume 10 in 2014. Stopped again until 2017 finishing the arc in 2018 closing volume 11. next arc shadow man started 2019 closed 2022. Current arc started december 2022 got a 5 months hiatus until chapter 2, waiting new updates.

Personally, I think Roberta just had those grenades hanging from the inside of her skirt. She curtsied very politely to grab the wire attached to each pin, pulling them all at once. Once the pins were pulled, they just fell out. It's very methodical how she planned that. Nobody would suspect what she was about to do when she went to curtsy, and it was so innocent of an action.

I have many story idea clips, and one features a very polite and soft-spoken beat-stick who could send someone flying with a flick. The scene is very vaguely written, and I don't know if I will make the MC male or female. Basically, corrupt selfishness is throwing their weight around because the MC merely stood up for themselves and their friends. The MC breaks down the door that won't open and steps through before mentioning a concern about their caretaker having his business hindered. The prick stated the grievance, and the MC corrected him by saying MC was merely defending their love from his son's egregious trespass, which is MC's right for love must be defended. The butler arrogantly yelled at MC and got flicked into the wall cripplingly. The MC very politely asked he do the MC the favor of rudely raising his voice again because MC enjoyed having the excuse, which MC said with a big innocent smile. MC pointed out to the opponent that the first authority arose from peasantry through their ability. Without once questioning his opponent's competence, MC stated that the son merely inherited his position, and "it would seem some key lessons have yet to be learned." However, strength conquers all while "any complaint is silenced as the lungs fail." MC said the caretaker has been troubled enough, and MC would be "most disappointed" for such trouble to spread further before thanking his opponent's generosity for so much undivided attention and politely saying "Adieu." I'm numb to such things, but even I feel the badass in that scene.

The introduction of Roberta is probably the highlight of the first season (alongside the Rock/Revy fight, ending in the iconic cigar kiss). Roberta is such a menace, the true bloodhound. Man, i missed Black Lagoon. After the OVA, it's almost impossible to follow the pace of the manga (and like everyone pointed out, the animated arc of Roberta's bloodytrail is nerfed to hell).
