Great Info on such a confusing subject for newbies Bob, as always! ❤. I guess my question, now I've started using mediums, is do artists use an average medium in all their paints as a.matterof.course to make things look a bit richer, paint go further, glazing potential etc etc, (then add the more specialised mediums {n top in certain areas) or are they 'supposed' to be used for just elements in paintings, like parts or areas of an artwork? Also, do U use it 50/30 (30 % being medium, 70%paint?). Or more like 50/50....guess I cud Google that Bob but questíon number 1 about is it to be used more sparingly, rather than with every colour throughout your piece,??😅 Thanks Bob, if U get the time to answer.

@@blackpoppymagazine whenever the painting calls for me to spend more time experimenting on how much. My take on all this is Acrylic sticks to Acrylic. No problem
