I'll give you graceful, but gracious? Every, and I mean EVERY swan I've encountered and seen on video have been complete assholes to both humans and every other waterbird around them. They'll give you a clop with a wing for just walking by.

@@exidy-yt I have hundreds of swans where I live. Their aggression is greatly over exaggerated. Anyone who gets attacked likely deserved it by not giving them the respect they deserve. People harass and torment them and their offspring and then get surprised when they get their ass beat by a waterbird. People who think that swans are always aggressive are the ones that have either never seen a swan or have only seen viral videos about them attacking people. The same videos which conveniently leave out the fact that there may be a nest nearby or the birds had been provoked beforehand. The same goes for geese too btw

What a big egg O: One year I saw a swan settle in a nest.. but unfortunately, that was a year it decided to flood 🙄 (haven't had such high water levels for long as I recall.) Maybe for the best.. it was right by a trail running alongside the city.
