@@fffwe3876 Yes, because he is even not using modern planes, modern helis and it’s all stuff he can sacrifice. It is also not the goal to flatten Ukraine. If he wanted that - that would have happened already. This war is clearly pretty gentle so far. He and Russia has always preferred to be under the radar and underestimated. Russia is a very dangerous and potent power and can even trash NATO in Europe. NATO is large, but not a focused organization. All NATO power can be deployed widely, Putin can put all his power on single place at will. There is a huge difference. Not to mention nuclear. Better not go there - the West will lose much much more. Don’t even try to bluff - will be called on the spot.

He made a fatal error which will cost him either his life or a lifelong exile or prison. Also note that the West does not help properly which would be to take clear open side, it does it all "under the table" with no risk by spending weapons which only and only makes suffering more and longer, without a clear chance of anything of substance, as Russian is not pulling out under any circumstances.

Every time so far, except this time… regretfully cannot relate to ANYTHING he claims here is even remotely reflecting the real situation. It’s all coming from our own propaganda (the western one, which is everywhere) and is not serving any purpose except calming us down that it's all good and Ukraine will be "winning" in the long run. The reality is: Ukraine lost with the start of this. It will never be the same after and it lost half of its potential incl people, men and economical growth or possibilities. It is now official third world in Europe. All victim of bigger interests outside of it. USA (NATO) vs Russia (and China). Absolutely no useful purpose for Ukraine as such. EU entry does not "give" any advantage to poor countries. Never has. Examples all around (Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic etc etc) - none of which are really near the level of its bigger Brothers (Germany, France, Austria, Holland etc.). Life is not rose and gold.

I look at my own country history, full of bullshit for 32years of dictator puppets of US propaganda, killing civillians being consider as a gift for the US by the leader of my country with the same scenario that communist country is the bad guy, a lot of birocrazy corruption, but when a president want to promote a much more efficient & simple birocrazy with hunting down corruptors, the people representatives that being well known as the nest of the corruption, their leader scream hard to say it out loud that capturing the corruptors is not the answer, not like he want the government to dig deeper & find the root that cause that, but he just don't want many of his colleagues got detained for it

He is so far off its laughable. It's insane to believe that the Russian military is a paper tiger when it is one of the most advance and highly trained militaries in the world. Russia has never had a weak military. The US media keeps saying how Russia underestimated the Ukrainian military and that Russia is getting beat and at the same time the US government keeps sending hundreds of millions of weapons to Ukraine bought for with US citizens tax dollars. Ukraine will lose this war and it will be over in less than 2 months.

I know everybody is jumping at the chance to demonize Russia but it takes two to tango. Actually three in this case. NATO has been repeatedly encouraging Ukraine to join NATO. Zalensky being an opportunist has taken advantage of this and repeatedly sought NATO membership. Russia is boxed in and surrounded by NATO. (Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia) Can you seriously expect them to not view Ukrainian membership in NATO as a serious security threat?????? Parts of Ukraine are culturally and historically significant to Russia and also the shared language. I don't condone the invasion and think it was a big tactical error by Putin as he is now the aggressor but the worldwide reaction to slaughter Russia with sanctions is just pure hysteria.

The difference is between all the wars that Robert Green references in his talk and the war we witness here is the presence of tactics and strategic nuclear weapons. What does a dictator, who wants control, who lives in a weird bobble, who is a socio-pat, do when things do not turn out the way he wants... He doubles downs. He uses nuclear weapons. In the art of war, Sun Tzu says that when you are in a situation where your enemy will destroy you if you attempt to distroy him, you should make sure your enemy has a golden bridge to retreat over. There is a balance that the war in Ukraine will have to achieve, where Russia can redraw with some kind of win while Ukraine does not lose too much in the process. It is not a morally right position, but it is the best outcome overall.

Exactly right, my friend. Robert is brilliant, no doubt about it, but I’d like to know what he means by “we need to do more for Ukraine.” Is he indicating we need to send more weapons and cash? We’ve sent billions. Or is he indicating we send troops and/or offensive weapons? If Robert believes we can put boots in Ukraine to push back Russia, and Putin will simply retreat with his tail between his legs, I believe he’s sadly mistaken. I don’t see Putin as a mythical creature as some do but I do believe if his very power structure is challenged, he would not hesitate to go nuclear. Just my thoughts.

@@irvhh143 I truly hope you're right. What have you read/heard about the generals' disapproval? I'm just interested in reading about it. One thing that worries me, is that we believe Russia's nuclear doctrine on first strike involves the president, defense minister, and chief of general staff being involved in "pressing the button." However, we're not really sure if all three just have access to the codes and all three are needed for the launch or if Putin alone can act. There seems to exist some unknowns. You must remember, we're dealing with a totalitarian thug who demands all power and commanding start/stop with him.

What you did, Robert, is incredibly remarkable, because through your work, your books, you provided precious insight about human nature and society to average people who have been lied to since childhood that all it takes is hard work and a good attitude. Oh, how misled we were. I wish I was offered your wisdom by my parents and educators rather than being told to be always just be 'nice' and wear my heart on my sleeve. I generally have contempt for the so-called 'self-help' genre, but your writings are an exception, they're a genre in of itself. I wish you many more years in good health ahead, you have impacted the lives of many, many people, including myself, for the much better. Oh and your wife, Anna Biller, is a spectacular filmmaker! Her own work is amazing, I've only watched the 'The Love Witch' so far, because I'm still digesting it and reflecting on its layers, but I'm really looking forward to exploring the rest of her movies. You two are certainly a match of brilliant people!

Russia isn’t necessarily being imperialist they aren’t trying to conquer all of Europe more than their obsession with their security interest that’s just an objective fact, we were warned in the west by our own that expanding East was a bad idea and can only end badly but we did it because we wanted a war with Russia, We turned Ukraine into a proxy state and they’re fighting our war for us on the ground while we supply them and send them millions upon millions of dollars in hopes they win the war for us.
