As a Christian metalhead a lot of people ask that and its a great question. About the suffering part God has a plan for all of us and those who hurt others will be punished when the rapture is here. When god comes back he will wipe out all evil and there will be restitution. Its just the waiting game. About the satan thing God already defeated Satan even though that sounds really crazy. The thing about that is again when He comeback he will cast Satan into the lake of fire. And the hypocrisy of Christians is true and even though there is people like that there is more out there who want to do good and honor god in the best way. God bless and listen to Slayer

And theistic satanism acknowledges the existence if the being christian's worship, although they believe its a trickster. So any christian commentary on behemoth really can only boil down 'yes, but you're just subverting x, and i dont understand this obscure occult reference'. Mgła, exercises in futility 1 or 5. Complete refutation. Lets see him walk around those lyrics. The great truth is there isn't one, as the opening line. There's a fun one for a pastor to work with. And nergal is trying to piss off the church. Its obviously subversive, and thus isn't subversive. Mgła is low key poetry and all the more tricky as a result.

"Homicide-suicide Hate heals, you should try it sometime Strive for peace with acts of war The beauty of death we all adore" as kerry king describes it its us (the people) watching the news and distracted by these things. instantly turning to the direction they (the government) point you towards so you don't see whats happening behind you. but as Dee Snider pointed out the concept of lyrical interpretation in is hearing 1985. even though he was fighting against unfair claims back then; Everyone has a different interpretation to most songs. Okay, I've been a Slayer fan since 1983. I hold a Bachelor's in theology, have been an associate pastor years ago... just want to point out that in the first place, Slayer is not trying to get into some sort of anti apologetics, or any sort of exegesis at all... They're just writing words expressing feelings that most of us have at one time or another. I think that if you want to take apart this song piece by piece (pun intended...Slayer fans will get it even if you don't...), you should also look at the rest of their lyrics. Like War Ensemble that you keep mentioning... But I digress. I don't know y'all, this is the first video I have watched of yours. But I would expect that you would do a little more homework about your subject matter, like the guys of Lost in Vegas, who do reaction videos. Those guys come prepared. They know what they're talkin about in regard to the music, in general. So I would expect you to know that this album, God hates us all, was released on 9-11-2001. A very significant day, wouldn't you say? Kind of gives the juxtaposition of the title and what happened on 9/11 some unintended meaning.

Thing about Slayer is it's not about the words they use it's about how they use the words. Kerry King Jeff hanneman and Tom Arayu tell a story of reality from the darker side of perception. Blunt honest and to the point no sugar coating. Silent Scream is one of the best examples of then telling a story that their fans will understand. And we do

Oh there are sooo many Slayer songs I'd love to hear your reactions to. Manditory Suicide, and Skeletons of Society being among them. The thing about Slayer is their stuff is designed to push boundaries, push buttons and make you ask questions of perception. I don't listen to much Slayer anymore after being saved but I used to listen to them all the time in my adolescent and young adult years. Seasons In The Abyss is probably the album of theirs I like the most. Yes their material is of a darker nature but so is that of the realities of the world. This is a very interesting conversation that I’m glad we can have. I personally that they’re is a difference between hate and justice. Justice comes from love. God the father is like a father to all of us and when we sin he will punish us, not out of hate, but out of love. I don’t feel your opinion is wrong. It really just comes down to how you define hate. I would also like to point out that Tom Araya is a devoted Christian and only writes songs like these to create controversy. Most of these ideas are so extreme only a psychopath would think like that. It can be this extreme because it is just a song shouldn’t be taken seriously. Overall a great song and a great discussion. Love your videos, keep doing what you are doing.

Try their song "Read Between the Lies." It's fantastic! It's a different take on faith issues. It's not criticizing belief in God, but instead corrupt evangelists. I'd actually recommend the majority of the Seasons in the Abyss album, AND South of Heaven. They're amazing albums. As for this song, I remember Kerry King explaining that the song wasn't meant to be taken literally; the title is being hyperbolic about how miserable life can be. I can't speak for every line of the song, mind you. Looking forward to the next video!
