Use your shoulder and a little of your elbow and keep your wrist and fingers from moving. Also start moving your pencil in a circle before you touch the paper

But don’t rely too much on the eraser to the point where you are erasing anything that doesn’t look THAT nice. I recommend only erasing three times, then after those three you don’t erase that one thing on your picture anymore.

I learnt how to draw heads in the easier way with drawing a circle, add a line down, add jawline down, done! But I've come to realize this makes it essentially impossible for me to draw any kind of side profiles or whatever This tutorial helped me a ton and for the first time I actually made a good side profile Thank you so much for making this video 💛

Excellent tutorial, Robert. While I draw mainly traditional charcoal portraits, the rule of the thirds is definitely something I factor into all my drawings. I have an art project in school and It had a line through the middle It was like, Your personality on the inside and on the outside One half has the words people describe you as, and the other is the traits you see and know you have in yourself and what your like around yourself or people you prefer. What software are you using to draw? this was a very educational video for me, my dreams are bigger than my skills and this has helped me improve on that.

I am using Clip Studio Paint also known as Magna Studio 5. I added my Amazon affiliate link in the description if you want to get it. It is very versatile and has tons of great features. It also has excellent perspective tools if you need them! :)
