Thanks to the commenters for the info about this song being the theme for the Indonesian show Srimulat. It's very interesting how music can travel around the world - this was recorded in Germany, I picked up the record of it in Canada (my country) and it's famous in Indonesia.

Srimulat is a legendary comedian show in Indonesia. It spans for more than 3 generations, from 1950s to 1990s. It's about the mid 1970s, they used this song as their stage opening theme song. In Indonesia, this song is identical to Srimulat.
