I love most Nars products too! I also appreciate that they don’t release new products every time I blink. The cream blush wasn’t great for me but I think it was more of a shade thing. However, their liquid blush is still amazing and I don’t even care about the cost because you literally need less than a drop and a bottle will last forever! ETA: I do think their shade names are a bit silly...like a teenager trying too hard to be edgy or something. 😂

The thing I discovered about the tarte shape tape concealer is that literally less is more (I have deep and dark eye bags). It’s very full coverage without needing a thick layer like normal concealers. Also I don’t layer my concealer on top of/below the foundation bc it’ll for sure crease. AND it’s better to use your fingers to blend it out so it’ll melt into your skin rather than just be pushed around via brush or soaked up by a beauty sponge!

I think people who are having issues with it is bc they are using way to much. You don’t need a lot at all. As long as you prep your skin right & you don’t over do it, it’s amazing. It’s not like something you have to do when your upside down and looking backwards. I just mean you you use eye cream & it’s not slick. Idk if that’s making sense lol I’m so tired.

I think the Nars thing is the fact that they as a brand come up with great color stories and/or products but the CHEAPER dupes get created by other brands and people jump on those instead. For example the O** blush, and having luminous (Milani) and countless other pink shimmery blushes.

With the shape tape, I’ve been using it for maybe a year or two now, I have to order it directly from Tarte online in the lightest available shade, but I learnt you have to use the TINIEST amount to have it sit well, and you still get great coverage that’s buildable. I use maybe 1/4 of a pea sized amount under each eye and even less on blemishes and by doing that I realized it doesn’t go yucky after a while at all.
