Such a meticulous breakdown for a sample vid speaks volumes about your attention to detail. Fantastic stuff. Haven't sniffed this one myself, but a "mood-based" release certainly sounds like every fragrance I own! 😄 It's probably the number one factor that decides which fragrance to throw on. Number two is my considerateness towards others. 😆 I know I know. #2. 😂 The selfish git.

I really like the way you paint a picture of the fragrance, I get transported to the place you imagine and this one sounds amazing! Love Promise and Moon, I'm waiting for my bottle of Electimuss Gladiator Oud also from Mr. Rasquinet and supposed to be a more substantial scent in the vein of The Moon... I'm salivating... I hope this year I finally buy a bottle of the night and definitely will try to get also one of Dawn. We have a very short winters here in the Chihuahuan desert, 3 months at most, this year it's been a little colder than usual but its a big contrast to where you live, we are reaching 30° C almost everyday so I'm used to wear my dark fragrances In the heat of the desert and you can see why they're made for hot weather, they develop very differently in the colder months, I like some more in the cold, but in general they smell better in the heat, of course it's just my taste and opinion. Tried Hope a while back and I feel the quality is equal to Dawn and the Night but 1/2 the price. Update: Just bought a 50ml from the Holt's sale- 50ml/100ml sold out on the website now.

never smelled Dawn, but comparing night to moon, which I own a bottle of, the night is much more versatile and more mature as the moon. I think that I've fallen in love with it. When my Night-Sample arrived on Saturday, I'd expect something loud like the moon. But it is a woody scent with a realistic rose on it. I imagine beeing in a traditonial Japanese house with teak furnitures all around wearing the night. Adorable❤

It seems that Malle likes to push boundaries. Especially price boundaries. With niche prices, the current goal seems to be $5/ml.. Malle has to push that boundary to $10/ml.. At that price, it's such a hard pass that I don't even want to sample. When you say, "a perfect 10," it means ten bucks a milliliter.
