A more potent and spicy frag than Black Afgano - which always holds a special place in my heart. Laudano Nero is a 2 spray beast on par with Interlude, Kalemat Black, Macassar, vintage Kouros, and Amber Absolute.

On my skin this doesn't have as much of a green scent as black afgano which is why I own both. Great vid Sir

Great review,i think the name Laudano gets from drug(medicine),in fact mix of Opium and alchol.Popular in the end of 19 and first decade of 20 century.

you did justice .in your first impresion....well my opinion about that is in those video comments- didn t like it at all.now ,under the hood sound better....own 13 from paolo s work.from v canto line you can try if you like pachiully -mea culpa,a dark vetiver in alibi,geranium in amans and pepper and carnation in irae..from tt line-lillipur-star anise,maremma sexiest fragrance(for my wife)arethusa-frutty leathery,ecstasy-rose and incense,xix march-green,foconero-best smeling fragrance for summer,ursa-best leather animalic without beeing overwelming,laudano -now you know,orion -different take in the aventus part-but better in all aspects-not a clone .have a good one

Thanks for the review on this. I do not own Black Afgano and have been considering it (I have Baoronda) and this is also something that I was considering too. If you could only buy one, and blind buy too which would you go for, assuming very similar price for 30ml BA and 100ml of this? On another note, I saw someone on fragrantica compare this to Bentley for Men Intense. Any truth to that? Seems implausible but you never know.

Guys so after sampling this a lot I finally order me a bottle. The scent is identical to all of my samples and decants but I have two issues. Have anyone else another small cap laying on the bottom of the box beneath the actual bottle. It doesn't even fit as a cap as it's oval. Another issue I have my batch code is a sticker apart from all the writing going on the back and I don't know if that's fine, altho the scent is identical to my decants.

This leans masculine. I think the oud especially feels dark and masculine. Girls could certainly wear it. Unusual, creative girls could do quite well with it since it telegraphs "There are many layers to me and I my interests are less common and varied". A very femme, pink adorned blonde haired mainstream type woman could never pull this off, but I don't think that type of person would ever choose to wear this voluntarily.
