Hallo Mr. Evans, hello Rob, like my ..pre-wroters said, that new knife, or the complete package, is very beautiful and sturdish! Incredible well built! If you anyone sell it, or make more -identical- of them, pls think of me! In the moment i am really poor, but this must not be so my entire life.. ^^ I appreciate your vids very well, here in Germany we don't know anything of Mors Kochanski, i stumbled upon him as he died and come direct to your channel. Since them i am looking your channel regulary and i like it very much. And i learned many! Kochanski studs are very good bushcrafters and sympathic people! (What many peoplesof other schools are not..) Greetings

I absolutely stand behind your decision on the knife. Mors was all about function. I personally don’t buy into the super steel marketing. I’m a budget steel guy. My experience with friends that bought super expensive knives. Their knives haven’t did anything mine wouldn’t do and in fact didn’t do as good as my cheap knife. I prefer something that is tough and easy to sharpen. I don’t want something I must have diamonds stones for. Good luck on your knife making. Always a joy to see your videos.

some people gave me grief years ago for wearing jeans outdoors, fair enough in the mountains but i'm in the woods, thought i'd cover myself before the nanny brigade piped up.

@@RobEvansWoodsman Ok , first .. affordable = it's just that , not necessarily perfect for the job at hand but it'll probably get the job done . Inexpensive ... This is the step in between affordable and cheap . Cheap .... poor quality, unreliable , and usually not wanted . ( hope that enlightened You )

The only reason why I gave it a thumbs down the quality of the videos great the information is great but the subject matter is beat to death in a. Knife as long as the thin blade can give great curls and is super sharp. I gotta do is get A-sharp blade doesn't matter how much you pay for it as long as it's hair raising sharp you can make fantastic curls. That's the end of the story.

I don't really know how to respond to that. Most people just stop watching if they don't agree or are indifferent to a subject or video, a thumbs down is for something pretty awful in my opinion. Two thumbs down in 5k views is pretty good so I won't loose any sleep over it. I won't give your comment a like 😜
