Nice vid! Say, Rob, if you want, when you are ready, you can buy a second Cobra Mk 5 to mess with. Or however many you like. Using regular game credits. A perk of buying a pre-built. That will have a rebuy. A goal to work towards, with intent! Small error: so.. 400 kilometers per second is pretty fast! That's 400,000 meters per second! I think you meant 400 meters per second when you talked briefly about thrusters and frame shift drives. I do not blame you, lad. It's a lot to digest! It's no matter.. just keep uploading! I really appreciate the narrative that explains how 'thoerycrafting' can be a side-quest of it's own. Good luck!

Cheers, Spike! I know what you mean about a second Mk. V; I had one before I reset my profile. Though I think I'll save my pennies for a Type-8 for the moment!

Entertaining to see you starting grappling with ships, modules, builds and so on.. I would definitely get out and *fly* the ships though because 1) theorising in a vacuum (haha!) only goes so far and 2) we'd see some actual gameplay on your vid. For example, you could try out different PvE builds in resource extraction sites (RES) to get a feel for how weapons, heat, powerplant, power distributor, thrusters abd shields interact in the field. Hope you continue having a blast in Elite Dangerous, and particularly looking forward to your forays into Engineering!

Thanks, Algo! I'm grappling a little with showing gameplay, though I've fiddled with recording episodes as live streams and editing that into videos.

Good overview. Curious to watch your progress running your business. : ) It seems overwhelming, but it doesn't take too long to figure out how to get the most out of a ship for a particular task. A lot of videos about how to make credits, etc. New peeps can find something they like and just go for it. Cargo runner? D Modules for light weight .... um, D is for Distance. ROFL And I guess "E" is for "Eww! Yuck!" - except for Cargo modules because you don't have a choice! I've kept at least one of every ship, but still love flying my Asp Explorer (first goal ship 10 years ago!) and my Orca because it's cool! LOL --> Fly around and experiment! Just make sure you can cover the 'rebuy' cost (insurance co-pay) or you'll start in a Sidewinder again - or any real-money-purchase ship. -->> Really wish I could pay employees in-game to do the Engineer "gameplay" I've avoided it even though it's much easier now. But ... can't some NPC do that for me??? I hope to learn from your enthusiasm for Engineering! ROFL

Thanks, JD! On the "business" front, I've got a video coming up on tracking my spending on the Sidewinder as I made my way from HIP 97950 to Kunti after the reset. Spreadsheet and all! But it was good to note the tweaks I made and cash I spent.
