What impressed me the most with this is that unlike the previous boss battles, the battle with Sunday can be said to bring the biggest emotional explosion with Robin's song and the appearance of Astral express it made me remember that honkai star rail really carries stories of light and positivity

Honestly, I prefer the EN dub of this fight best. This is a fight for the fate of the universe and you can hear the feelings/emotion in their VA. The other dubs just felt a bit too calm for the situation (there could be a cultural aspect, though, as to why I perceive them as so calm). Also, Himeko ate that like she had rent due and this was the check to pay it.

Hmm personally I think. Why EN himeko say the dialogue like that is because they got differnt dialogue direction from the other language VA. I still like the jp dub more(probably I like jp himeko way to back in the HI3 days) . Prob to the EN va too I can see why people like that line so much.

@@LukarioCh. Sometimes changes are good and authors shouldn't hold the final say. If things didn't change in adaptations Superman wouldn't be flying, shooting lasers or blowing freeze breaths today. Other times it's bad like all of DCEU. You keep the good and throw away the bad.

I expected them to shout their lines as the train hits the boss (EN Ratings) - Welt could use more energy, but the line goes hard B Tier - Himeko is perfect, easy S tier with that line "Witness the will of the weak" - Dan Heng, A Tier... could use a louder voice but that was almost as good (the word "shackled" helped in the delivery damn) - Robin could also use more energy but the line was great, B Tier - March 7th has it alright, could be a better line but yeah A Tier

My top Special Astral Cannon: - CN: March 7th - KR: March 7th - JP: Dan Heng (all of them are good tbh) - EN: Himeko ( all of them are good too) i'm biased jp but the en one is really the best one Bonus: "Disorderly noise"

It's so refreshing seeing so many people appreciate the performance of Himeko's EN VA, especially with all the EN dub haters. Disliking EN dubs is fine but it's so heartbreaking to see people openly shit on the VAs just because it's not to their liking. All the VAs are talented in their own right regardless of what language they speak; HoYo would not have hired them otherwise.

It’s because for some reason the CN voice direction is very mellow and the other two Asian localizations followed it incredibly faithfully. Only EN decided not to. People call that cultural but it makes no sense. Their stuff always has tons of screaming and high emotional scenes.

@@Mrbluefire95 Nah, Eng VA direction was and is rightfully shit on because they lack context due to laziness and often gives out emotion and negative aggression in their tone that the characters and writers never plan to give. Such as this boss battle. Sunday is an antagonist, not a villain that own the Astral Express money.

중국, 일본, 한국어는 싸우면서도 차분하게 설득하듯 말하는 게 로빈 노래랑 잘 어울려서 좋았는데 영어는 분노를 주체 못 해서 성질내는 것 같아... 이번 싸움은 악과 정의라는 입장에서 서로 죽도록 싸웠던 펜틸리아와는 다르게 서로의 이념 차이로 일어난 싸움이고, 직전에 선데이가 겪은 일을 보고 어느 정도 이해했기에 이렇게 차분하게 말하는 게 더 어울리는 것 같음

honestly im not a big fan of eng dubs and i really want this in spanish dub but fuck bro, the eng dub during this battle went waaay too much hard, robin voice breaking, himeko was outstanding, dan heng did good and fuck overall the way this was built was perfect, the ost, the whole build up and the robin intervention broke me, i really wish i could experience again this boss fight

The way the voice direction is supposed to be around the same as Chinese delivery, since it’s the og language. Himeko en va has stated that they don’t get much voice direction, and in 2.0 it led to that one sus en voice line

Thats not really the VAs fault, for some odd reason the game always makes the music MUCH louder for scenes like this. So you yourself have to manually lower the music.

ENの姫子はその時の感情に合っているのか？ 2つからその疑問が出てしまう。 1.感情的になるにしては姫子とピノコ二ーとのストーリーが弱く感じる。 (ストーリーに姫子個人に関わる内容があればわかる) 2.JP姫子はミステリアスでいてその中に柔らかな愛情を感じられる性格からあそこまでの感情は出にくいと感じる。 ENの姫子はどんなことに対しても全力で感情をぶつける人ならこの演技は素晴らしいと思いますけどね！

i really liked the EN one, and I don't understand why people hate it. To be for real the delivery she made for me is just perfect it shows that even if we are weak as long as we are together we can fight all obstacles. Her delivery actually made me emotional during the fight. Normally i prefer the jp dub in animes but hoyo games really did a great job in casting these VA's they are very good in doing there role. This version of hsr Eng dub actually stole the show, every single cast showed what they are capable of.
