to be fair while the combos look hard most of them are pretty easy compare to similar combos in other games. injustice in general has a pretty straight forward combos and forgiving execution. most of those i was able to do in a 20-30 minute session with the hardest parts being connecting the wall bounce after his meter burn dp and the follow up after the divekick juggle that i didn't know existed till now and have now stolen for my own use. now doing them in a match is where it gets harder.

SHOT i sucked at making combos in the 1st injustice but after spending about 30 minutes with robin in training mode i found him to be fun and easy to combo with, just give it time and use your meter

Also deadshot doesnt use any meter to zone anybody out, a meter burn roll is still a win situation for him and it doesnt mean we can get something out of it either. zoning in nrs game is really hard to deal with.

Haven't got this game yet so I can't get in the lab but watching videos to try to learn - is one of these combos considered Robin's bread & butter to where it's the most practical and does pretty good damage? And does Robin have any other practical ways to open up the opponent for one of these combos other than a jump in punch?

Robin has excellent range with his sword and ways to get around zoning, the key is once u get a knockdown u gotta punish wake ups and use his pressure to keep them at bay.

It's very True. This is a Zone Heavy Game. But when you Land these combos, it feels so rewarding. It's shame Capcom couldn't see this with SF5. I love the direction of this game. As long as they don't bring out the Patch Team and Nerf this game to the floor. Zoning may need a patch, but I'm loving the game so far.

This might just be a me thing, but I've had luck starting combos with Smart Birdarang at close range, which stuns long enough to pull off any combo that starts on the ground.

To be fair all characters wouldn't be hard to balance if the stage itself isn't literally the same length as a real life 1 meter ruler(about the same length as some guitars and baseball bats), if it was let's say, around 12 inches then characters w/out fireballs or teleports have a fighting chance(atleast not frustratingly)
