ROBIN GIBB talking about songwritting from Prebendal, Thame.

Robin Gibb had just filmed a concert in Germany & I was asked to shoot interviews at his house, "The Prebendal" in Thame, Oxfordshire. He was very pleasant & spent the afternoon showing us round the house, chapel & gardens, telling us all the different history of the building & past residents.
He talked about The Bee Gees & how they had written some of the greatest melodies & songs; including Jive talking, Nights on Broadway & Night [light] Fever.

Yes,,,,,such a HEARTBREAK,,,,,not only a genious,,,and beautiful soul,....but his gorgeous English looks taken from him at such a young age....mid 30's ????? and then started losing his hair by the time he was 40??? I firmly believe the cancer set in a lot earlier than what they say, i think he suffered longer than he let on...... I mean , his looks changed so rapidly...he got so anorexic looking

Why couldn't anyone in his family notice that he was losing weight and looking sickly and get him to a doctor before it was too late? I think he was sick years before he was diagnosed. He might could have still been with us :(

I thought he had been declining since around 2008. It was painful watching him getting skinnier and his spark had gone. You could see the pain in his eyes . Such a fascinating , interesting, man. Missed so much .

They say he died from a broken heart because of Maurice passed away in 2003 but it would have been nice if someone in the family had a notice he was getting skinnier got into a doctor

He did get help after having stomach pains but may have been ill for a while at that point. He says in interviews that he stops eating when depressed or grieving and he really did get ill after Maurice

@@vincecozzi2545 I found a list of over 1,000 songs that were registered and recorded. They were Barry, Robin, and Maurice - Barry and Robin - Barry and Maurice - Robin and Maurice - and there were songs written by each brother with different people. If anyone got too much credit, it was most likely Maurice because of his heavy drinking problem. Barry didn't like Robin. I doubt he would have Robin get credit if he didn't deserve it. Nowadays, if someone passes gas during a writing/recording session, they get a writing credit.
