When Robin did an online battle called Kickback, Brez filmed all his rounds and helped create some of the most visually amazing online battle rounds for beatboxing ever recorded. So they have worked a lot together in the past.

There is a podcast from Robin where he states after having won that he did it because some of the sounds he used were created by Brez. They did a lot of work together and especially in the last few years there were a lot of videos from Robin who were filmed by Brez. So the emotion is understandable. And since this was Robins retirement which he announced beforehand, it was maybe better that they didn't battle each other. Though I hope that Brez style and music will win once as well.

Matej came in with only 1 week notice due to another competitor dropping out last minute. Brez is Robin's best friend, and it was Robin's last competition, so he was so emotional that he won it.

Man I've really enjoyed this journey. Robin's music is so original and should be highlighted. That being said, I wasn't impressed with the final battle. I think like a bizkit vs. Den would have been insanely epic. Much respect to all these dude tho.
