He was so quick on his feet to make jokes on the spot with any material, and they were all freaking hilarious. We miss you Robin. Nobody, absolutely nobody like him. He was an amazing comedian and an outstanding actor.

His ability to be current on almost any topic in the world around us and make the best jokes around it all was an art in itself. Robin you are greatly missed by all who were touched by your talent that can never be replaced. The day you left us is the day before my birthday and every year I'm sure I play some of your material on the day.

His brain was wired so different, he could do this on a whim and crush an appearance and then do something like Good Will Hunting, or Insomnia. We miss you Robin.

I cried like a baby when he died. Easily my favorite comedian of all time. Also an amazing actor. He could go from Dead Poets Society to Mrs. Doubtfire, to Moscow on the Hudson, to The World According to Garp, to Good Morning Vietnam. Each and every roll he shined. Serious, to comedy, to serious and each role would be perfectly done

@@DH-xm3hcthat being said he fought HARD AGAINST IT- NOT even knowing WHAT IT WAS. FOUGHT for the life and wife he had found. That's the saddest part for them, and for his many, MANY CLOSE FRIENDS, even neighbors they had. 'Robin's Wish' is a great documentary that Mrs. Williams has put out there; I'm very grateful for her bravery in doing so.

Robin Williams - Comic Genius ,,, none were like him and no one will EVER be like him,,, And he was very much likable, A friend of mine got a selfie with him, met him during the winter Olympics in Vancouver Canada at Whistler Ski Resort and said he was the most genuine, kindest - gentleman :-) and furthest person from being a snob, unlike a lot of celebrities are these days - that snub fans constantly ;-( I have read and heard, that on many occasions he would give of his time freely, such as visiting sick kids with cancer in children's hospitals un-announced, without anybody knowing that he would be arriving, because he didn't want the publicity or any credit for just making people laugh , , , , , Most people would agree that He was, THE BEST, if not "THE BEST" - COMEDIAN OF ALL TIME" No one else could naturally keep you in stitches, even during , just regular interviews ! ! ! all without any effort and all unrehearsed. If you ever watch a lot of comedy, you may notice that - all of HIS comedy is not repeated, unlike some of the best ones out there, Live, On Tour, Online, on TV, in Comedy Clubs, or ? live. I still cant believe that he has passed away, taken from us - far too early ;-( way to early, he had so much fun in him, always playful and so amazing to listen to and see him perform. No matter which talk show, stand up episodes, or whenever you have seen or listened to him, He NEVER had to put any effort to be humourous, such a natural born talent of - - - - - - - - - OF EPIC PROPORTIONS. Hope to see you in Heaven Robin, I am sure that you and God - Himself, have kept Heaven's residents' smiling ;-) and laughing :-] every day since you arrived - Amen > > > > >

In comedy there's no equals to Robin Williams. (George Carlin came close.) The guy was lightning fast. Looking back, he did age real fast after his heart surgery. His passing was an immeasurable loss to American culture. One can only take solace in speculating that he knew he was reaching the end of his life and didn't want to burden family members with prolonged illness. In any case, he's dearly missed. RIP, Mork.

The late James Lipton (RIP) of Inside The Actor's Studio interviewed Robin Williams. Like all the previously mentioned, Robin Williams had a unique wire connection in his brain that allowed him to be so quick-witted; tell a joke, make a joke, engage in a conversation about anything and make a joke about the conversation, in regard or in reference to the conversation and also engage with an audience member or with the audience. He was the kind of comedian that had such a mental acuity not only performing but engaging in any conversation on any of the late night talk shows. He was ONE OF A KIND. He was unique. Even years later it is sad that he passed away at a relatively young age. He is missed and will always be missed.
