Respectfully everyone, I loved Robin Williams. My whole family did. He didn't die because he was "sad", but because he an incurable illness. There's a film that was done that documented his last days that led up to his death. We all miss him deeply. I hold the greatest regard, love and respect for him. Here's what basically happened. I copy this off the net: More than six years after his death in 2014, a documentary called "Robin's Wish" revealed details about Robin Williams's final days and aimed to raise awareness for Lewy body dementia (LBD), a progressive form of dementia that Williams was diagnosed with following his death by suicide at the age of 63.Mar 31, 2023

You're probably guessing right. It seems to me like most of these commenters fail to acknowledge or realize that Robin had an uncontrollable and notorious decades-long battle with drugs ( predominantly cocaine ) and alcohol. What a sad and painful life he must have had. Surely, he is not suffering anymore. RIP Robin, and Johnny.

It was admittedly early. He stopped after John Belushi died in '82 & after Zack was born in '83 - when this interview was aired - he was still talking about how these events saved his life.
