2018 was probably the best year for any and all Roblox players. The humor, community, and platform all together was simply astonishing. Roblox didn't release any updates that made the community rage, nor did they receive as many complaints as they do today. Back then we didn't realize we were making memories, we only realized that we were just having fun.

I still think old Roblox is great. It wasn't just because of the games. Undoubtedly there have been some excellent games released in the last 3 years, but at the same time, we remembered roblox not just because of the great games from a bygone era, but because roblox had a personality back then. It was fun seeing all the new things roblox would do, like the giftsplosions, actually good egg hunts (or egg hunts for that matter), events, when the forums existed, and so much more. It was before roblox become overly corporate and emotionless; it was like you were having fun with you best friend. It was fun back then, and it's still pretty fun today. The biggest reason we liked old roblox was because of the memories, and when roblox had a sort of personality, where we could have fun. Sure there were issues back then, but even something like the filter being broken back then wasn't really something I had an issue with. I actually had fun creating accounts with inappropriate usernames just like you, back during the alberstuff days. Roblox in general, no matter what time period it is is good. Sometimes it was great, sometimes it wasn't but still, it was still funner back then, with the features that Roblox removed, and all the old games that have either updated or died out.

I dont know how to explain it, but old roblox just seems like the top games were way better than they are now. Usually (now) you find things like high heel run, color pick, avatar creator, generic anime fighter simulator, and mostly uninspired copies of existing mobile games. Back then the popular games were usually more fun, like bomb survival, apocalypse rising, parkour tag, but sadly none of these are very popular anymore

Genuine answer, one of my favorite games I played growing up was a small game called Databrawl. The older versions of it were fun, but I essentially watched the game evolve and really take off since 2018. It's actually shown up on the flamingo channel a grand total off 3 times, in the form of ads from the game and other (probably most likely stolen) assets in free games Albert played. Still love the game to bits and it's community is amazing (a phrase I maybe can say about this community too but lol)

i dont think it was the game necessarily that we miss so much, but rather the community. Just from what I remember the community used to be so much more friendly and chill. I also think it's because of the aspect of simplicity it used to have back then. Although I do think roblox is growing and becoming better over time and its genuinely so fun to be part of its growth, I think it's just that it's golden era is over, similar to Fortnite and other games.

I started playing Roblox when I was 13 I’m now 23 and still play it time to time, the one thing I always loved and admire about Roblox is its simplicity to create anything you want I look at Roblox Studio like it’s Unity or Blender after 2020, I’ve learned coding and scripting through Roblox which helps with knowing basic fundamentals to owning a PC, the 3 earliest games I remember playing was Black hawk down with zombies, the first City-17 role play, BoysVSGirls.. greatest gaming moments I won’t forget growing up all started with ol simple bloxy (Roblox)

I originally started around 2 months or so after Roblox appeared. One of my ex-friends showed me the game and I thought it was too simple to be fun, but it certainly grew on me. I made lik 12 obbys back in the day and a few battle zones nobody ever played. I don't have access to the oldest stuff anymore but I know pretty much all of the old trends.

It's quite sad on how Roblox ended up. From a simple game with friendly players and caring community to a game with toxic players, a community that sees only profits and money rather than the fun of the game. The past does hurt when we remember it but it doesn't hurt when we get to feel it.

things i loved about old roblox: - there used to be actually decent events like egg hunts and halloween, christmas, etc. events - there were a lot less toxic players, when i first started playing roblox, there was 1-3 years before i even learned what the word toxic was - the players were really friendly and fun to play with - no furries, e-daters, etc. - no constant drama - i probably didn’t undersand anything going on at the time so everything seemed good - denis videos - just logging in daily to hang out with friends and mess around - happiness

nah man. I got bullied in 2018 for being a bacon and when I finally figured out that the avatar editor existed, someone said I looked gay(it was a weird outfit because I just fidgeted with clothes). Honestly it isn't just the games and how simple it all was back then. For me, it's how Roblox actually cared a lot about their community. Now, look at them. Almost every month there's something they do to make us basically want to quit. Instead of hosting Egg Hunts and other amazing events, they just have Spotify Island and Walmart Land and... none of us want that. Those events are just what Roblox wants. It seems like they just want mOnEy more than their players actually enjoying their time on the platform. Do you guys notice how teched-out the website got? Notice how instead of supporting RB Battles by putting it in their Events, they decide to include Walmart Land? Yeah... it sucks. But I'm just gonna be quiet about it for now because I'm probably saying nonsense lol
