I love this game albeit having a complex history with it. My abuser introduced me to it in 2018, and we played it together often. Once they exited my life, I struggled to play it again because even though I truly enjoyed it, it reminded me of them and that very dark time for me. However, as years passed, I eventually began to play more and more often, and it felt really good, like I was reclaiming this bit of our history for myself and removing them from it. I felt really happy, and enjoyed it without thinking of them. Make a Cake will always be very dear to me, even inspiring me to try and start my own game, and I'm eternally grateful to Cakebomb Studios. Thank you for making this video :)

I have a very interesting history with Make a Cake. I remember getting these rainbow wings from an event in 2017, and making an avatar out of them. Then, I lost that OG account for years, till I recovered it recently, with the same wings attached, the game always lives in memory as the last I played on my first ever account a while back.

I can't believe that this game of all games still thrives and recieves love from players and the devs to this day. It and Speed Run 4 were my first two games I played on the platform, and now on my second year in uni, I wanna go back to those days when all that really needed to go on in my head was how fun it was to jump into the cake machine and become a cake myself And seeing a queer person be such an integral part of this game also warms my heart immensely

I used to be so obsessed with back for seconds (I never really played the original). I used to just put as much batter through the machines as possible and get annoyed when other people ‘stole’ my cakes. I dubbed myself a cake mother lol as I just adopted all these cakes and fed them to the noob. At the start it blocked up the machines a LOT but when I came back to play it later on the machines hardly blocked.

Man i have good memories with this game lol, like when i did that 2018 imagination event which was like one of the first events that a fully completed, theres also the colab with one of my favorite games tower heroes, but the game is also just goofy and fun lol and a good time waster. Also now that i think about it, this game is an exanple of what a simulator should be, a game revolving around one single task but with personality and LOTS OF EXPLORATION and other nice things to do and not just a glorified cookie clicker with added gambling.
