for people who are confused with the ending: the animatronic called "Kraken" force Malcom ( A.K.A the player) to put the ship back to the dock and make the ship kept going (he will let us live if we did but Malcom's denied, i think) while hunting down and killing the new captains of that ship over n' over, that's what he also did to malcom's brother. Malcom's decided to destroy crush the ship into a mountain, killing both him and the "Kraken", Malcom's wanted to avenge his brother and he knew he would die anyway, so he sacrifice himself to end the "Kraken"'s terror against humanity. Hope that help :3

5:28 I have a theory about the sound. This Mason guy told Rogurt that he was going to see it himself, since he thinks it knows about their plan, and because it's stalking them. Perhaps that's Mason screaming in horror or pain? Since there is also a loud bang right after it. After all, the first guy says: "Okay, the news are out. We found the dead body in the storage unit." Or something along the lines of this.

The final voyage sounds like a horror movie title, actually scary, 13:34 also the creature is named dhadow marcus, dubbed after the marcus robot said to be the shadow and alternate being to him, he first appears in five nights at marcus remastered, and now here he is, in the flesh. In the remastered game his description mentions that his appearance and existence was never made public despite mist people having suspicions. Im guessing malcom came to avenge his brother who was killed by shadow marcus

Although we're not sure if either of them survived the crash, hopefully they make a sequel cause this game was awesome

@@TheRogurt Actually, when you go into the extras menu after unlocking the documents section (after getting the alternate ending) you can read through the documents and in them there is reports about the incidents where they call the "Kraken" "Shadow Marcus". I think "Kraken" is just a nickname given to "Shadow Marcus" by Mason.

I noticed something during the final voyage, during the Vent sequence with the Purple dude. It looks like it takes inspiration from FNAC 3’s mechanic where you must keep your flashlight on the Monster for a certain amount of time before it runs off.

The face in the intermission before the final voyage is connected to the Submarine Simulator game. That game and the FNAM games are connected, as the demon face from the Submarine Simulator is the same thing as the purple eyed entity from the Marcus games, and that monster on the final voyage is supposedly the vessel of it. This also connects to the demon face we see at the end of the intermission before the final voyage, it is a more twisted version of the original demon face from Submarine Simulator. Hope this helped with a bit of the lore.

The monster is a combination of human remains attached to a mechanical frame that houses a AI chip. not a monster from a whole other game with different powers. Its a humanoid head, rather than the same being. Submarine simulator has another game its connected to being night watch, not quite Markus's though.

I had more trouble with fourth voyage than fifth voyage for some reason. The final voyage was also pretty challenging but not as hard as the custom challenges that I suggest you try out and beat because they are VERY hard but if you don’t have time, it’s ok. I’m looking forward to when you are going to play the second game. Toodles!
