Roblox devs can make really great and scary games if they're passionate about it. I love that aspect, they are really great games and it shows how much the creator has worked to give a great, playable and scary games to players when they don't get paid (ik there is donations but there is no gurantee that the game will get famous enough.)

That’s true for any game dev, what sucks though is that Roblox takes such a huge portion of profit. People who get rich usually make major pay to win gambling traps for kids, and it’s rare actually competent devs get paid a comparable amount

Somewhat similar to your convenience store job story, I used to work at a warehouse (where there were only 4 of us in the entire warehouse), we delivered screws, fasteners, and stuff like that to this one company that makes fitness equipment like treadmills and stuff. We had two trucks, and I drove one of them (my roommate drove the other one), and I'd just make the same route every single day, M - F. I'd get to our warehouse at 8am, help put the pallets in the truck, and then drive it an hour down the freeway, get to our customer's warehouse, unload all the shit onto their stocking shelves, count everything, and then leave. Every day was the same shit, and it was super easy. I would get back to our warehouse by like noon every day, and once I got back I could usually just leave. Sometimes we had to stay until like 1 to help assemble kits of parts (like 4 of this screw, 8 washers, 8 of these bolts, etc. in a bag together, then throw 50 of those bags into a box, then make like 10 of those boxes). I didn't like doing kits, but it wasn't too bad, and thankfully everyone would help out when we had to do those. Most days it was just an hour on the road, 20 minutes unloading shit, and an hour back, then home by like 1 or 2pm. But like your convenience store thing, I still got paid as if I worked 8 hours a day, which was super nice.

The game on 18:18 At the beginning of the year I was making a unity game exactly on this map, it's a template available on some 3D model sites, but I didn't know there was already a game with the same concept, and on the same freaking map! This kinda broke my will to continue creating the game. So I changed the map and since then I never had time to continue the development. Maybe at some point in the future I’ll fully release it.

People really don't realise that the roblox engine has been getting better and better for nearly 2 decades. It's so refined right now, that people can replicate an entire call of duty or battlefield game with a huge amount of accuracy. It's just slept on because it's been considered a kids game for so long, which is fair, but it really is underrated now. Insanely good games can be made with it's engine if people are passionate about it.

Damn when I worked at Wegman’s overnight I got to work as many hours as I wanted to. I know the store managers always asked how things were going knowing that we had too much to stock and being short staffed but my boss told me I could stick around if I want to and help him out. I would literally work 6 10:30 pms- 2:30 pms. But not every week. Like my overtime was really random. I would till whenever I wanted in the morning and leave when I felt like it. Like I never got out at 7 am like I was supposed to but I doubled my income that year also.

you could play 3008 on roblox one day it's an horror-survival game where you're stuck in this infinite ikea (scp 3008) and you have to survive. during the day you can get supplies and build a base but at night the employees will rush towards you and try to kill you if they see you. i find it funny

I always wondered what it would be like to work in a place where I wasn't obligated to work through my two breaks and lunch with two hours overtime everyday to avoid most of the rage of abusive bosses that impose unreasonable expectations on everyone so they can talk to them like they're trash and don't do enough, all while corrupt/cowardly field HR members mitigate their outrageous behavior because office politics is more important than not flushing your own soul down the toilet for a greedy corporation. Just my experience with literally every retail job I've had in America.

Honestly, roblox is a game engine. Not a great one, but it’s one a lot of younger people (Gen Z) are familiar with since we grew up with the platform. I do hope a lot of these devs eventually leave the platform. They’ll get more from their work and without a doubt reach a wider audience.

Incase you do this again I have some recomendation for roblox horror games which me and my friend thought were great and spooky! :3 Asylum, I loved had some decent jumpscare and cool story. Before truth, a bit more puzzle solving but still great The mimic, was really good And lastly murder mine, a bit more goofy but we thought it was really good. Love your vids ❤

(from best to less best) ⬆ - Judy (Best game iv ever played, whole story and everything) - The Rake (Its a horror game where there's a monster that chases you and you can get items from loot drops to kill it!) - The Mimic (I've never played it but from watching people play it, its so GOOD looking) - Rainbow Friends (Its definitely a children's horror game, but still a fun one) - Nicos Nextbots (Self explanatory on what it is, its a next bots game but its one to look at. Super fun and scary!) Before playing any other games on roblox i would check these out! Hope this helps :D Edit: Ima post this on every roblox vid until he likes it (meaning he saw it)

Most places totally pay overtime in the U.S, but that's usually only after the 80 hours required every 2 weeks, or after 40 hours in one. I get time and a half after a starting wage of 18.00/hr. I have a job that's pretty easy to do overtime with, because it's healthcare. Some of my coworkers work ALOT of overtime, to get fat checks. So every hour past the full time hours would be 27$/hr.

I think my comment got auto deleted because I made a joke about it being a discount 7/11 gas station in the US, due to the garbage can being on fire outside and used a specific website name to describe it... hah. The literal dumpster fire is very accurate of most of the US right now, was my joke. But yes, right to work states exist, I live in one. You are legally free to just quit at any second if your boss is being horrid, but you're also legally allowed to be fired at any point, without two weeks notice, barring discrimination cases - say, you had a seizure and had to go to the hospital. Your work can't fire you for that, because that's literal grounds to sue them based on discrimination for a medical condition. But if you're being an idiot at work, they can just tell you to go home, you're fired, with no warning. It's a double edged sword
