I feel like a simple way to prevent this specifically is to add some sort of account protection system that prevents AI from banning certain players, but only have the ability to flag them for whatever it thinks is against TOS.

I uploaded a cart ride game based of a small streamer I watch and my account was terminated because of it because of "Discriminatory Content". I emailed Roblox asking why and they said "The game had Nazi models.", and after emailing them again saying telling them it their ban was a mistake I was unbanned.

first of all, if the ai wants to DELETE an account, then it should only be able to flag them for whatever it thinks is against TOS. then a HUMAN moderator can look at what got flagged and deliver the final verdict.

Its not like the moderation can get better through the appeal system when the irl moderators are paid minimum wage. I don't mind the moderation too much, but they're way too strict on chat bans and game bans. My friend made a UTG back in 2018 and I still had the model in my inventory. I decided to check it out on my PRIVATED GAME and Roblox instantly deleted it, along with my account that I've had for 8 about years at the time. Meanwhile if a hacker gets detected the worst ban they get is a 1 day ban. However, when an exploiter gets detected, they usually get just a warning and a 1 day ban at worst, which is honestly stupid, considering how that does so much more damage. Not only that, but the moderation only works for unpopular games. If a game is really popular and makes money, they can get away with child gambling and don't get me started on Meepcity parties.

Alright so using AI to search accounts for violations of the TOS to decrease the workload for humans is fine by me, but you should limit the AI to making suggestions and not decisions. Suggestions as it sends it to humans for them to make decisions. If the AI makes decisions on its own, the AI is incompetent enough to not give a damn about the false positive rate This problem is not only on roblox

3:07 This would be great and all if the appeals process actually worked, but instead it's either outsourced, moderators don't want to do anything, or it is also being automated to just try and "ignore" appeals. That and as you can see even if stuff is reversed the AI can still ignore the reversal and hit again on the same item/thing. Better yet, it would be amazing if the moderation system to begin with wasn't as bad as it is. Also, while I do recall moderation being not great years ago (by years I'd say 6-10) at least you'd reach a human who would be able to do something for you or explain why they can't do anything. At least in my past experience.

99% of the bans I've seen are their own work. Professional UGC makers. So. Not IP violations. I saw someone get banned for making fake nails for avatars (I thought Roblox wanted Rthro to be popular? We can't get nails for UGC bundles anymore?). And also onesie type outfits.

Onetime I was in a contest game hosted by Juan 25 Ink (very good animation channel) and there was a spinbotter in the server (player collisions were on) so we decided to start roasting the spinbotter and I asked if anyone had access to the discord server to tell Juan about it but then I got banned for one day. They rather ban someone trying to get a hacker out of the server than actually ban the hacker.
