"Better to be hated for who you are, than be loved for who you are not." The first time I went to the PX and saw how cheap everything was, it blew my mind. Free accommodations, free food and great health care on demand. Sometimes, I was gone so much, I could barely remember, what the place looked liked. It always meant more money for booze. I was really amazed by it all.

Armed forces don't pay for their accommodation..and they most certainly don't pay taxes or pay for their pensions...back to school for these two..they are a cost...the taxpayers pay for everything thing they use ,where they stay, all equipment etc.

@@briancooper4232 I don't have to. Because because when I had my pay slips, written on it is Tax, National Insurance, Food & Accommodation, and how much I used to pay. I still have the pay slips and I can prove it. So I don't need to hear it from some bearded guy with glasses, because it's there in black and white. And there is not a British soldier alive that would say any different.
