I just installed installed a new OEM on my 22 Tacoma. I used Sikaflex caulking around the washers. I had a little trouble lining up the front to small bolts so I lossless started them first then loosely started all other screws before tightening all. Shark fin was clear of the bar. I may use clear silicone over bolt heads

I didn't realize that was how they were installed. Looks OEM to me, but I'd never need one myself. I would like to get a bull bar, but the attachment methods look so weak I would imagine an impact would drive it into the grill and cause more damage than without it.

I came out of a store one day and something seemed wrong it was one of those rubber strips missing from the drivers side I can't imagine why someone would want it but when I went to toyota parts dept. I found out why because the price of one strip was over two hundred dollars I eas guide shocked but it was needed so you can understand my surprise the fact it was taken and the cost of replacement

Oh no! 🫣 Silicone promotes rust on car bodies, ask any "certified" auto glass technician. Urethane windshield sealant ect. is safe to use. What else did I have to comment about¿, oh ya! Thanks.
