This feels like a game that if it came out in the 2000-era it would be a beloved classic.

This game seems to be one of those games that isn't too ambitious and focus instead on being competent at being one thing. Which is great and honestly is kinda what I was looking for.

This game feels like a AA game I would have played in the mid 2000's and I like it. Game has flaws but is just dumb fun and doesn't take itself too seriously. Respects the source material too which is nice. Also Robocop came out in 87. Makes me feel old because it's only about a year and a half older than me. Great movie, never saw 2 or 3 though. I heard they are not as good.

That is not a revolver. Revolvers have a revolving cylinder which is where they get their name. That is a pistol. Yes, I'm tons of fun at parties😂🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. Great video, as usual😂

I played the demo and was in love. I'm actually really enjoying the story as well, outside of obvious budget constraints, it's really well told.

The best thing it did was completely ignore Robocop 3. It's set after Robocop 2 and it really nails the feel of the movie. And the smaller budget works to the games advantage considering the original 1987 movie was a relatively low budget B-movie. What made it great was the direction and the script.

@@chriswihulu It is according to Dan Aykroyd. All the original Ghostbusters agreed that Ghostbusters II was a terrible sequel, and Aykroyd and Ramis were both involved with the game. And it's really good.

the game does full justice to the robocop movies and its tonality, its not politically correct it does not care for addressing issues just how 80s and 90s were like. it is clearly a game on a fictional character in a fictional world intended to give player entertainment for which it was made (unlike other AAA games). it does have flaws and issues but besides that it is a reminder that a game can be entertaining. just that i didnt get what the hell was about the gun upgrades and the final boss is too damn powerfull for a casual gaming.

I'm 42 and saw Robocop when it first came out (I was like 6). The part where Murphy was killed, before he became Robocop, really messed me up as a kid. The rest of the movie was awesome. I'm considering buying this game though. It looks really good.

This game is unironically amazing though. Its fan-service through and through. The devs knew exactly what they were doing. It prioritizes fun and story above all else which is quite nice compared to what we've been forcefed by the industry lately.

Well, it's a decent to good game made on comparatively miniscule budget by people blasted for the worst game of 2013 that seems to top most of this years hyped releases. I advice anyone who can to support these guys, their product might be bit janky but they come from an earnest effort, not inflated budgets and overworked stuff forced to smile while they're rights are being abused and violated. I'll have RoboCop any day of the week over shrinking horse balls.
