@TheHumanFly516 Dunno why it's not letting me reply directly to your comment, but that side mission is in the beginning of the game. Robocop meets up with the street informant Pickles to go look for Officer Brigg's (the missing cop key to the main plot) son when his mother can't find him. In this video (can't remember the time code or chapter it was in), MrHammers' shows a clip of the last cutscene from that "Time to Repent" side mission where Pickles' says "And Robo here will just let you off with a warning. Right?" And then Robocop gives a thumbs up and says "Right." The whole thing though is great, and it's not a shooting mission either... well... Robocop doesn't shoot in it lol

An important thing to remember in these dark, dystopian days of subscriptions, micro dlc, bugged beyond believe AAA releases, the price is worth paying and supporting: honest pay once get full game experience that is loyal to its source material. A thing that is so rare these days.

the only negative I ever had about it, was that they initially left out Xbox for a Next-Gen version AND all DLC, which wasn't a negative for the game itself, but did leave a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Didn't let it influence me too much, but as someone who did get into the game a few months after release and bought it on sale, I wanted to support them as much as I could, after I found out how solid the Game was.

Despite the low metacritic score, Terminator: Resistance sold me on Teyon's triumphant comeback. Hell, even their free Infiltrator DLC almost served as a Beta Test for the Robocop game as you can throw enemies around, collect intelligence and breach walls just like Murphy! It absolutely sold me on the prospect of preordering Robocop and at 20 hours in and nowhere near done, I think it was money well spent! It's perhaps the best Robocop media since the Original 87' Release!

Robocop is guns, gore, and action galore, but most importantly it’s about heart and I’m glad that they didn’t forget about that like the devs for the previous Robo outing. Robocop is a badass literal killing machine, but inside of that suit is Alex Murphy and Murphy is the human spirit that OCP can never crush no matter how hard they try.

A game developer that respects the hell out of a franchise, isn't making a "Live Service," and isn't offering $5,000 of paid DLC on day one deserves that $50 more than most. If they use the money from this game to enhance their mocap stuff they'll be moving to the top of the AAA space in my eyes.

The biggest gripe I have with the game that it is on UE5 and getting it to work for many people is a pain in the ass for little to no reason, apparently containing old UE bugs that prevent you from playing and you have to mess with your computer options to run just that one game, while others work perfectly normal.

The character of Wendell was more interesting when we only knew him as The New Guy In Town. I feel like you could remove him completely from the story and not much would really change. Max Becker was a far more interesting antagonist to Robocop than Wendell was.

A huge fan of this game. I knew after the Demo that it was worth supporting. A little jank never bothered me if the core of the game was solid, which this absolutely was. A fun time with a nice, brisk game that doesn't feel the need to bloat its run time. Gun play that is simple, but more fun than many FPS games nowadays.

Good review. I don't have any interest in playing this but that was a good watch. Bullets that bounce off your armor and kill your enemies sounds hilarious. I miss that time of the mid 2000s. One of the most fun times to be alive. I wish I was an adult in the 90s but that was some short lived fun there.

im glad i gave this game a try they had the delux edition on sale so i grabbed it on ps5..on normal mode i felt like a god..untouchable...but when i put it on extreme difficulty i started seeing a challenge..its also addictive as hell i love it

I agree it would be more fun if he could jump, crouch and slide around. How I think they should do this is a sequel, which would be based on the Robocop 2014 reboot movie where robocop moves way faster and does all those moves. The scene where they pit him up agaist the other robots in the factory would be awesome, also the scenes where he is doing testing sims in VR. Buuuuuut im sure this wont happen, instead streamers are going to beg for some multiplayer, battle royal BS where they can buy new robocop skins and NFTs, and the studios have to make money. And yes, I was born in 1988, played my first online mulitplayer in 2019, PUBG. And I enjoyed it very much. But good lord man its enough now, time to just make good games not just a reskin of PUBG/Fortnite just so you can sell skins and battle passes.

if you take in advance that C77 cost full price and was a shtshow and even after years still unfinished and never be, see a well round product like this for me its just, a real comeback from those days where companies actually care about giving a good product because they knew, if not, it wont sell sht, coming back to the same example, C77 had a lot of people asking his money back but check again, how many didnt care about the current state of the game and tried anyways because trends and even after got their wallets robbed, they pay again for a DLC See how different its to care your actual product and most important your consumers

I absolutely loved this game. It's a made with such attention to detail and deep knowledge and care for the source material. It's the absolute antithesis of what we see so much in modern times where people will make a game, or remake a show off of some movie/show from the 80s and just butcher it and "re-imagine" it.

GOTY for me. I only bought trepang2 and this, so you know I wish it was 2005 again. Robocop was so good, I enjoyed every single minute of it. the atmosphere reminded me of deus ex, with its cramped alleys and scum everywhere. The most incredible attention to detail has been delivered. I’m thinking of the characters, easter eggs like Jensen heart transplants, the satire, the original set pieces (the conference room in the OCP tower!), just everything. buy this game and support the devs - not many of that kind around anymore! btw, could it be that they have kind of „announced“ a Die Hard game because the antagonist Wendell Antonowsky looks a lot like… you know?

very late but you can also have both full auto and never need to reload, if you have both options activated, you just need to have your auto-9 have the full auto motherboard then in the middle of switching to your other weapon, go into the auto-9 tab then swap it out with the never reload motherboard and quit out, then when you switch weapons you have both full auto AND don't have to reload. It just resets every cutscene but you can even do it into the police station for an easy 250 points at the firing range

I'm in the middle of my 2nd playthrough to get that sweet 100% run. I just wish there was new game + It's not perfect though. Aiming is wonky and I've had instance of it just simply not working. Also had the game crashed on me before, just once though. None of the issues really detract from the experience and I definitely recommend this game.
