I think for a character like RoboCop FPS is more appropriate than third person. Robocop can walk fast but is not agile and is more restricted in making turns. He doesn't do back flips or somersaults. He's like a tank so fps is more that style.

There Terminator game was such a blast, lower budget but you could tell that the game had heart from the music to the tone and art style it felt like future war depicted in Terminator more so the first film not to mention all the call backs and Easter eggs to the movies. The theme for the game was also amazing it's an amazing cover so I expect the Robocop theme to be used in this as there's no reason they can't get the rights to the music as well. The gameplay reminds me heavily of the infiltrator mode where you played as an infiltrator T-800 going from random objective. From the slow motion kicking down doors to the picking enemies up those aspects are pulled from this mode. And naturally tanking shots and walking much slower as well all of this suits Robocop really well. Game mode was really fun for the first time acting as a rogue like experience but got a little repetitive after a while as you were doing is going from place to place killing dudes so I'm excited to see the gameplay used in a story mode in different landscapes to using all kinds of weapons along with the whole dialogue aspect making choices and looking for clues. Overall yeah it may not look as impressive compared to other games but it's safe to say fans of Robocop will have a fun time and like in general it will just feel like you're in the movies.

I think Peter Weller sounds like the reprogrammed version in RoboCop 2 when he was overloaded with directives and he was oblivious of the seriousness of the situation.
