Praydog never resting and now UE5 games the 6DOF attachments are now working. Some cool GUI themes and various other fixes and bug squashing over Christmas. With the UE5 Adjustments revisiting Robocop and managed to get a very satisfying adjustment that feels great!

Hopefully someone makes a small mod on top of UEVR with the API that cuts the character model maybe at the wrist and adds it on to the guns/add custom grip points for all the guns etc. hopefully people seeing the base experience with UEVR will prompt modders to finish up the final polish per game.

Really appreciate your videos and please, take as long a time as you need, you guys are working really hard. Quick question: how does the camera work in the mod? I mean, with Luke Ross, you constantly had to shake your head to reorient the UI back in front of you when you turn yourself around 180 degrees. Or you could do smooth turning to keep the UI in front of you, but my stomach cannot handle smooth turning, I get too nauseous. So my preference would be that the UI just follow wherever your head is facing, or wherever your controller is facing, like in most native VR games. How does it work in UEVR? There is a UI follow head option. Also a snap turning option. The UI stays where your cursor is (so in this where you are pointing the gun/controller), the cursor is decoupled from where you are looking. UEVR is completely different from a Luke Ross mod so I wouldn't take any assumptions from LR mods as this is nothing like them other than we have a head aiming option maybe being the closest feature to them. Would recommend watching maybe the UEVR live stream FAQs on the flat2VR channel we did. The builds and features were super old there but the general basic concepts were still the same back then.

the question i have about the injector is if there will be a library available of presets that other users created for games that have far more knowledge and skill using this injector... i am not really good at techstuff but these games look so much fun to play in vr

Robocop I have a profile to get these exact adjustments you’ll be able to drop in. I’ll share it on flat2VR. Most games you don’t need a profile just pick your game and click inject. Anything with custom motion controls here I think it will be easy to find a good profile on the flat2VR discord UE channel.

You can swap that model to your left hand and rebind inputs for a left handed layout, right? If not I guess I would have to stick with gamepad or m/k inputs.

Yeah you can attach to your left if you want. You would have to remap all the controls so trigger on your left trigger with something like steam input. 🎉

You can make your own or import another’s. I have this profile available to download and it’s on the spreadsheet. Will probably have to go back through old videos and add links to download them there as well. Once you know how to hook these up it doesn’t take long maybe

Great video! I'm currently playing Robocop with the mod and my gun is super small in the bottom right corner. Also looks as though the stereo effect isn't rendering properly, but weirdly only on the gun. Is that normal? In games like Alien Elite Fireteam and Bright Memory the guns are normal size and function perfectly. I'm using the Pimax 5K Super for context.

Hmm may be a pimax issue? Come over to the flat2VR discord and post your log and config file in the Robocop game card in ue-supported-games so we can take a look.

Hi. I got this setup and working great. I need help setting the aim cursor to line up with the site on the gun like you did about 30 second into the video. are you skipping the cut scene or editing them out in the video? My game is crashing a lot during these cut scenes or if I go anywhere near DLSS in the video options

Works great (having applied the Robocop profile from your Google Drive folder), however, when certain scenes such as the shooting range ‘calibration’, I can’t move the crosshairs. I can only move the camera about leaving the crosshair in the centre, restricting shots to the centre target. There’s another scene in the arcade basement where I need to search a desk; same problem. I tinkered with many settings to no avail.. have to keep swapping to keyboard and mouse. What am I missing?

Yeah that shooting range and a couple of other rare scenarios just go back to a controller or KBM for those brief sections.

Would this 'UEVR' tool work well with a Pimax Crystal, an RTX 4090 and an X-Box controller? I think my wife would love to play Hogwarts Legacy in the Crystal with an X-Box Series-X Gamepad Controller.

Im using your profile. When I rotate the gun hand it moves and bounces the camera around. I wonder if there are fixes for these issues..

That will always happen in cutscenes right now when using 3DOF in any game. Should stop when you get in game though. The enable pawn rotation toggle eliminates it during gameplay if you experience it there though. Keep your hand very still in the cutscenes 😂 someone will hopefully make a proper plugin on top of this to perfect those games with more features.

hey, thanks for the response and the tutorials and well everything!! ;D Yeah, I was talking about during gameplay. Trepang2 and Robocop both had the same camera wobble, when rotating the gun motion controller when using your configs. Disabling the enable pawn rotation toggle didn't fix it but attaching the camera to the pawn (relative) in the UObjectHook settings of RoboCop and Trepang2 completely fixes the gun from moving the camera. 😁 @@waifu_enjoyer

Im at a part in the game where i have to choose robocops skills. You have to press left on the controller to choose skills but oculus hasnt got a left press on the controllers. Also can u play robocop with a normal x box controller?

Well as I said in the video there were some bigger issues with xinput the other day, getting these attachments for ue5 and him working on the SDK. Praydog is clearly working very hard right now even at Christmas. I trust he will release it when he is done but as we all get it for free don’t want to rush him.

Have a look through the properties. Believe it was called “Equipped Weapon” or something similar. Then the components of that. Should find the mesh there to attach.

​@@waifu_enjoyer Ok, some news. The weapon mesh lives under the 'MySkeletalMesh' tree, note the 'My' in front there. It's not directly accessible from the Acknowledged Pawns sub heading at the top of the tree, you have to dial down and find it in one of the Inherited properties, I think I found it by starting at the collision detection settings - but I got there a little more quickly the second time once I knew I was looking for the 'My' mesh that contained the weapon sub-heading. Everything works now, except the gun stops moving away from my body before full arm extension (not a big deal) and the gun is rotated 90 degrees to the right (a pretty big deal) There seems to be a bug in the 'adjust' function, the config window closes when I click on it. Where is the preferred place to report bugs? Also any help with finding the manual settings to rotate the gun and remove distance barriers would be really appreciated, I plan on buying you a coffee if you've got one set up. THANKS!
