This is pretty useful. Couldn't find anything on this at first when I was playing Monster Hunter Rise. Certain clothing/accessory parts were turned off on 1 side. And this problem showed up on NPC's that seemed to wear customizable stuff and in cutscenes like when eating food. Usually not on story NPC's unless they had mods (you don't want to see bald Chichae and Komugi trust me). Well at least this should work for the UEVR games, though I guess still no solution for MH Rise. I've been done with that game for a few months to the point that I'm satisfied with what I've completed, but I do hope this won't be an issue in the upcoming MH game.

Do you happen to know how to select things on the overlay menus (when you click in both directional sticks)? Whenever I do, I get that little pop up like you did (at 1:00) and I can't select anything. I have to use my mouse, it's pretty frustrating. Thanks in advance:)

How did you fix the aim? I couldn’t get it to shoot where the weapon was aimed. I read somewhere that the uevr community needed some info from the devs before they could compensate the aim. But here you are in blatant defiance of that somehow? This looks awesome - it looked good when I played it but the aim :(

Hi, how do i bring up the uevr menu in game? Im using the endeavor profile and the hud is stuck to my face. Doesn’t matter where I point the gun with my hand the bullets go where my face is pointing.

Came here after the recent Quest exclusives and how they dropped the ball. The fact I wish VR games looked like the PS1 or PSP over the recent releases says it all >_> I don't understand the obsession of going for modern workflows when the studio doesn't have the hardware for it, defeating the purpose.

Can’t make it work through Virtual Desktop (VDXR), all the commands stay choppy, laggy as suck. Over SteamVR (OpenVR) everything fine, I think I will accept n live with that.

are you skipping the cut scene or editing them out in the video? My game is crashing a lot during these cut scenes or if I go anywhere near DLSS in the video options

Thank you for this guide Alex, I spent many hours last night trying to get it to work but to no avail, so gave up. However after watching your guide, I'm going to try it again and hopefully I can get it to work, My PC Should have no problem running it and at high settings, because it has an RTX 4090 and a 13900K with 32GB DDR4 ram. Should allow me to play Ride 5 in VR which to me is mega exciting as a motorbike guy 😁

The UEVR menu doesnt work in VR. It just highlights " L+Y to recenter" etc. I cant select snap turn or any such thing. Also MAN is this a chore to get started. And profiles on the list say "works perfectly" actually dont such as call of Ctulu ( the intro is all messed up you cant see a thing, the player characters arm is outstretched for some unfathomable reason, and when you get to the part where you spent ability points, you cant confirm with Touch controllers, you need to use Xbox controller.

SO many people who have no clue wtf they're doing or talking about. It's a false positive, ignore it and keep the download /proceed.

I've noticed some issues. 1. Center dot(aiming crosshair) is bound to UI, which I only could set via offset to adapt it approximately where my headset position is, but still my head is moving a bit & shaking while aim icon is static... I've also tryed to go advenced & dig deeper into assets but barely found anything. 2. 1st Person view works only for unarmed & short weapons'gadgets, and doesn't work for Spears & Bows, which is very sad, Its like one of good things you can play with is shooting with bow, but well...

How did you get locomotion to work? I could only get snap turning to work, no locomotion or smooth turning. I use Touch controllers
