I cannot record clean tracks either like other multitrack recorders. When dubbing and listening to backing track it always bleeds through and gets recorded on new track, very frustrating

Either get a dinamic mic or connect a headset / headphones to the pc so the background track won't be recorded by the mic

when I select new track and click on record I can't see the vocal is being recorded in new track but its getting recorded in the selected stero track and also I can't hear my vocal I can hear only the music

If you're using a headphone with mic connected to a USB port you might get a slight delay that could sound like an echo ? Try using a headset connected to the headphone/mic combi port on the computer.. HTH..

Hi, do you know how to fix the problem when audacity fails to start recording and just sits there and if it eventually does start, it's stuttering and also stops again? I fixed this before by updating the usb storage container driver but I'm now using windows 11 and I'm not even getting that option via the Intel driver app. I can't record anything because of this problem. The recording is using a backing track then singing via a microphone to it

You need to reduce the buffer size to bring down the latency.
