Hi. These are amazing! A few months on, would you still recommend them for model railway motors? Great explanation as well. Thank you.

Hi, yes. This is the best module but don’t know about it. I got busy else I would have. Made tones of videos to promote it. l298n and L293d are junk compared with this.

Hello, thanks for the excellent video. I have a question about the exit voltage, I have 2 motors that requires max 3v, can this be achieved with ZK-5AD ? I tried it with L293D, but exit voltage was 4.5 which poses a risk to burn the motors. Also, can be connected this module directly to arduino 3.3v or 5v ? Thanks in advance for the answer, greeting from France.

if i connect one motor to both outputs, its devide current for the both circuits? For example i wanna use motor with 10 Ampers peak current. What are you think?

If i connect TA6586 motor driver to 11.1Volts lipo battery and the D0,D1,D2 and D3 pins to arduino which is connected to 9 volts battery, will that be a probem? please answer asap man, it's an emergency...
@robojax10 ай бұрын
when you conenct Arduino to 9 or 12V, on the board there is 5V regulator which changes that 9V or 12V to 5V. arduino works with 5V and there won't be a problem. Sorry for late reply. I just woke up.

Another amazing video sir!!...quick question - which motor driver would you suggest for big motors (rated current ~7 amp each)
@robojax2 жыл бұрын
Hi, can't suggest any motor. Use DigiKey for example as they have tools that you select motor based an whatever voltage, current , power, size etc. you want.

Thanks for showing this new solution. Few questions: 1) how can PWM be used to control the speed, if no Enable pin? 2) What capacitors are used in the ZK-5AD? (in case I will make my own PCB). 3) is the 3.3V output simply comes from the voltage regulator? What is it used for? 4) Since there is only one VCC combined for logic and motor, can 3.3V logic (for example from ESP32) control the device when power of 12V is supplied? This is not clear from the data sheet. Thank you !

Hi, 1-You can't use it without that pin 2-Datasheet link in the resource page was missing, I just added. see that please 3-explained in video 4-Yes and you can. see all voltage for the pins in datasheet

@@robojax On a second thought, perhaps I could use the PWM: while the motor is in work, one signal is L and the other is H (depends on the direction). I assume that if I drive the H signal with PWM it will work the same. I can't try because I just learned about this motor driver today (thanks to you), and already ordered it, so I have no access to it yet.

I found one I lie: LB11650 from OnSemi. 8-28V motor, 3-5V logic, 1.5A const. With PWM pin and protections (I don't really need).

5th question: I love the added value of this driver (less voltage drop etc), but it is limited to 14V. What would you recommend to use up to 25V?

@@robojax I need to drive a 20V, 1A train model. At first stage the driver is controlling the tracks voltage. but later it will be on the train itself. The DRV8874 is too big for that, overkill. The L298D is not so good as you mentioned. So for 5V projects (toy cars) I tend to use the TB6612FNG. Still looking for a 20V small size good motor driver.

@@robojax The DRV8838 is not up top 20V. Thanks for trying.

Hello Raghib, This is the best motor driver so far I've seen. I am going to make video on but got busy with something. I am not sure when but I am going to make it in Shaa allah (God Willing)

And i just found out if a pin digital can be analog. Is it the same like analog pin such A0-A5. But thanks for the respons may Allah always protect you and help u. Aamiin
