Thank you so much for the detailed review of the model S7 MaxV Ultra. Compared with other Roborock family robots, its price is indeed higher. Personally speaking, I think it is reasonable. For me, its features, like self-empty, wash and fill, are super convenient. Also, I don't need to worry much about its getting stuck in the middle of cleanup, with the object avoidance technology.

Surprisingly well. It is without question the best version of this type of mop I've tested to date. Arguably better than the Narwal T10, which is still my current favorite...though I'm only a few weeks into my long term test of the S7 MaxV Ultra. Within the next few months of testing I should have a better idea on which is #1. There is a huge amount of dirt and dust in the waste water tank after each clean.

Thank you, very informative as I'm thinking of purchasing this product, as I want to upgrade from my current Roborock S6 MaxV setup. I have some questions, maybe you or someone else can help me out: 1. Can I schedule the robot to vacuum only the entire house at a specific time, and do let's say 2 cleaning cycles per room? I know you can increase the cleaning cycles on Zone Cleaning Mode, but was wondering if you can do the same with Scheduled Cleaning Mode. 2. If I select vacuum only, and keep the moping attachment on, will the moping attachment be raised during vacuuming? 3. I own a large breed dog, that sheds a lot, and often. I run my current robot once a day, and still I have to empty the dustbin daily, as it fills up. Sometimes the dustbin even overfills, and because of that, the extra hair coils around the brush. Sometimes the hair clumps at the entrance of the dustbin, and even though the dustbin is empty, it cannot fill up any more, because of this, the extra hair ends up getting coiled around the brush. So will this new model solve this issue? Will the suction power from the home station be powerful enough to pull these large hairs and empty the dustbin properly? 4. How often must I refill the water tank and empty the dirty water from the main station? I plan to mop daily, at high scrub intensity and highest water setting? 5. How often must I change the dust bag as I have lots of pet hair, and debris on the floor (from the dog coming inside when I walk him). Ty in advance! Hope to hear from you guys soon!
@ModernCastle Жыл бұрын
1. I believe there is a way to do that, however, you will likely run into run time issues. 2. Yes 3. Most likely yes 4. Depends on how often you clean and the amount of hard surface floors. However, if you use high scrub intensity I would guess you'll be changing it every day or every other 5. As with #4, it depends on you big your home is, how often you clean, and how dirty your home is. Generally, bags last 2-3 months.

Any of the S7 MaxV series would be a good pick due to the obstacle avoidance and ability to lift / lower the mopping attachment. If you wanted to send a little less money the S7 is an option also, no object avoidance, but still has the lift / lower on the mopping attachment. See here - amzn.to/3kw6y9g The obstacle avoidance is an awesome feature to have...but if it's too expensive the S7 is still a fantastic robot in its own right.

Hi, I saw in some different review that the dirty water tank and the mop cleaning area start to stink after few days and therefore the "full autonomy" is not achieved as you have to regularly clean those areas and change the water. What is your experience?
@ModernCastle2 жыл бұрын
The water tank definitely stinks. I make a point to empty it every couple of days. As for the mop cleaning area, I haven't noticed any strong odors there yet, and I've been using for around a month at this point.

Great review! I’m really interested in how well the self cleaning mop station works with regards to how clean the pad becomes after a rinse cycle. Any chance this can be reviewed?
@ModernCastle2 жыл бұрын
Ah, good point, I should have covered that better. Overall, it does a pretty good job at cleaning the mopping pads. Not amazing, but definitely good enough. If you're mopping your floors every day then you'll still want to wash / dry the mopping pad once a week or so. But if you mop less often than they you should be able to delay that. All that said, it's at least as good as cleaning the mopping pads as the Narwal T10 is (which is another high end mop I love).

That is why for the purposes of obstacle avoidance, ReactiveAI 2.0 does not save a single image. No images saved means no images to lose. Not only that, S7 MaxV is certified as a safe, smart home product by TUV Rheinland and also meets ETSI EN 303 645 cyber security standards." I do not really care if it manages to identify if it's a shoe, toy or a cable, as long as it avoids it. As a content creator, KZbin relies completely on people like yourself to make money. Without you, they are nothing. You are their services. My hope would be that enough content creators would take issue with KZbins/Google's practices that they would cease to create content unless KZbin ceased to make poor decisions that effect their users in exchange for increased profit. Obviously, there is little chance my efforts or yours by continuation would make any actual difference, but sometimes you just have to stand up for what you believe, regardless of how useless it might seem. The only thing I would disagree with you on is that you have zero power. You may have close to zero power, but it is slightly above zero. If enough content creators forced KZbin to make a decision, then that decision would be made. They rely on the fact that you see yourselves powerless as individuals. You may be near powerless as individuals, but as a collective, you have great power. I have sent this message to every single one of the dozens of channels I have described to, I'm not singling out you or your channel. I'm just choosing to not put money in the pockets of KZbin/google, which unfortunately means not putting money in the hands of the content creators they use for profit. You are, however, the only one that responded to my comments so I just thought I would do you the courtesy of a reply. But again, I have no problem with you at all, I enjoy your videos, and I wish you continued success. As you know, my one subscription is not going to make a difference for you.

@@atsoit314 I appreciate your opinion. Though I don't think unsubscribing from creators you like is the best way to get it done.

@@ModernCastle I will definitely resubscribe if the playback speed feature returns. Hopefully KZbin decides to support user experience over making a little more money. I probably would have even stayed if they were transparent about the change, but they removed it without any notification or reason, and I won’t support that.

bro, could you have worn shorter shorts? I can't stop staring at the area, it's so distracting 🤦🏻♀️ yes, I suppose that reveals my struggles.

Dude! Your "Man Spread" seating arrangement is laughable. Imagine a female product reviewer sitting like that in front of the video camera! My Eyes! Bwaaah! So.. that said, back to the review....

I've seen a lot of comments that made me shake my head, but this one is the new #1. I'm 6'1" sitting on a couch that's a bit closer to the floor. That's just how my legs hang when sitting.

@@ModernCastle - Then maybe place your camera on a tripod that doesn’t aim up your shorts? Not that I really give a rip, I just thought maybe I would mention how unaware you appear during your review. I mean, you do want us to take you seriously, not? How can when I’m ROTFLMAO?

how does it do with water spills?
@ModernCastle Жыл бұрын
Not well. You don't want to run this over large liquid spills of any kind.
