Hello! We are using Misumi Telescopic Slide Rails - Light Load, Two-Step, Aluminum (SAR230)

how does the intake work? I saw how you guys picked up from both stacks at once in auton but is that what you guys generally use or something else?
@alexciocirlan36518 ай бұрын
Yes, this is how we intake from the stack, although we do that only in autonomous. The mechanism consists of a hook mounted on a GoBilda Super Speed servo that grabs only the bottom pixel.

I presume the arms that took from the two stacks was controller by a servo. If so, what servo was that? If not, what type of actuator controlled it? Thank you so much!!!!
@alexciocirlan36518 ай бұрын
You are right! The hooks that grab from the stacks are actuated by a GoBilda Super Speed servo each.

I’m lowkey pissed cause ftc kids love talking about how it’s harder but this is their challenge

Is it legal to pull the stack off of the white tape? It looked like the stack closer to the camera was really close or not on the tape at all.
@alexciocirlan36519 ай бұрын
Usually, the stack doesn't move this much. This video is not a really great example because the robot needed some more calibration. In 24 hours of testing and 1 comp, we didn't move the stack enough to get any penalties.

how do you stop the pixels from bouncing on the backdrop
@alexciocirlan36519 ай бұрын
We drop them as close as we can to the bottom of the backdrop. The shorter the fall of the pixel on the backdrop, the less it bounces.
@ananyauppalapati9 ай бұрын
question would that count as being in control of the pixels above it(when you pick from the stacks) even if its for less than a second?
@Emanuel.Serban9 ай бұрын
No, according to FTC Official Q&A: "subject to the constraints specified in rule GS05; the Pixels that are not Possessed by the Robot must be: a) no longer stacked (i.e., knocked over); or b) stacked On the white tape line."

Can a robot place a white pixel on the field into the backdrop and get the same score as if it had placed a pixel given by a human player?
@alexciocirlan36519 ай бұрын
If you are talking about the spike mark pixels, you can pick them up and score them like normal pixels. Although I am not sure if you can do that in autonomous mode, Better seek the answer in the Q&A, and if it isn't there, ask a question yourself.

Isnt that a penalty? It crossed the center in auto
@alexciocirlan36519 ай бұрын
Crossing the centerline does not result in a penalty; interference with another robot is what gets you the penalty. We already took this into account for our next competition so that this wouldn't happen.
