I agree that this is the point when Robot Wars was getting bigger and better. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of flashbacks, especially for teams who missed a war or two like S3 and 13 Black.

This was when Robot Wars hit it's TV Silver Age, I remember being So Hyped Up for the first Series of Extreme that I Got some Friends of my family to Record the 1st episode when it 1st premiered on BBC Choice & I Chowed down on a slice of Homemade Carrot Cake watching Chaos 2 battle X-Terminator in the All-Stars Tournament!

Great to see you getting back to uploading these episodes, although I'll tell you which full-length episode needs uploading as it's never been up on KZbin in high definition - the International League Championship from Series 3. Also, what is it with Chaos 2 being described in this episode as "unbeaten in competition"? What, its loss to Razer in the First World Championship and being the first to be eliminated from the Northern Annihilator don't count for some bizarre reason?

Maybe they were referring to the regular championship and the Side events didn't count? Some weird kayfabe going on in this series.

This demonstration is apparently several years old. Current American robots use spinning blades, horizontal and vertical, and/or flippers almost exclusively. These 70-pound killers toss their opponents fifteen and more feet in the air and eat their tires.

I've got to say this is extremely boring to watch these robots have no speed and very little power watching this second fight one of them fell into a pit which is just stupid then you have this fire pit which is stupid then you have two other house robots in the way there's no power in these weapons compared to the weapons that the Americans built seriously let's bring some of those people over to America and fight on robots in robot wars I'm sorry but we would shred those things to pieces in a matter of seconds😅

yea obviously the robots are shit no one has any money from sponsors and no one can test them safely and it's early 2000's. I'm so glad i watched robot wars before battlebots because now i can appreciate them both. RW for it's charm and house robots and the fact that any team could win a fight no matter their budget etc and battlebots for it's greater professionalism and destruction. Of course if you watch battlebots first then this seems boring.
