Good job! A lot of people have said they have broken all their flexible parts, but as you and I show, it can be done without breaking them if you just take your time and do it delicately. I'm glad you found this video useful. Yuval

I just picked one up yesterday from my local hobby shop. The box I have has optional plastic parts for the trigger mechanism. I'm also trying to paint it up. It looks so cool. They also have a handgun, ak-47 and a Tommy Gun

I'm in my 40's, and one of my family gave me one of these as a Christmas present. At the time I was thinking "Oh great. Another piece of tat to stick on a shelf for several years before quietly sending it to a charity shop"........ But after watching your video, I'm actually pretty tempted to build it now. :D

Go for it, you'll enjoy the build and the result is fun to play with, it still works after all this time.

I would imagine the problem would be in the trigger machanism as that had to be constructed carefully and in the right order, also it had to be waxed (and I didn't get the wax stick in the box...). Yuval

Hey, I know this is really old and you that you don't care if it shoots, but I had the same problem and went absolutely crazy over it until I realized you have to cock the gun and not just pull the trigger 😂😂

Really intriguing watching it go together. I saw another build (AK-47) which got me interested enough to buy a couple and have just been looking for models and build guides. Nice, informative video.

Hey! Amazing video, but can you teach me more about the reloading part? I did exactly what you did but It just shot all at once. Thank you!
@yuvallahav10 ай бұрын
Did you rememeber to turn the wheel 2 clicks for every rubber band you loaded? You put it on the edge, you pull it over the exposed tooth of the wheel, then turn it back 2 clicks (1 tooth), then load again, turn 2 click (one tooth) load and turn and repeat 5 times over. Sound like you loaded all your bands on a single tooth.

@yuvallahav10 ай бұрын
Mine also didn't come with wax, I think it's because in some countries it is considered a flammable material so they can't ship it. You have no wax at home at all? No simple white candle? no tea light candle? no smelly candle for your bathroom someone once gave you? You can use bacon grease if you don't have anything else, it will work :) Yuval

Do you think they are made for kids ? The puzzle is for adults, then the toy is for kids :D Nice built. I also like it. A few years ago I bougtht one and then I gave the toy to a friend's kid ;)
@yuvallahav4 жыл бұрын
Well, screw the kids, this was for me!! But yeah, I think any kid about 10 years or older can manage to build it, but in no means is it just for kids, I had a great 2 hours of building this, I enjoyed it so much, I used to love building models of aeroplanes and ships, and this was a lot of fun to make. And the kids do like to play with it around the house. Some models are a lot more complicated to make and probably are meant specifically for adults. Yuval

So what do I do if I broke the handle for the pump (51:29) both times and it’s utterly destroyed? Am I just screwed or what?
@AR-mp2ib3 жыл бұрын
Same here I just broke the middle part of the pump so I could attach both sides and the step after connects the broken middle together and just tape or glue after you are done
@yuvallahav3 жыл бұрын
Well, if you're good with glue you can always glue the part back together, and hope it will survive a third try... You might be able to get a replacement part shipped to you if you contact the company, but I agree these parts are quite delicate to put into place, but once there they are very stable. Wish I could send you my spare part as I managed to get it on the first time. Yuval

It has a set of rubber bands you slip in notches as you turn the wheel, which gives you 5 shots, if I rememeber correctly, then you just cock the handle to prime it. Yuval

Well what a waste of me even clicking on this video you literally jump cut the piece that I specifically came to try to find how to put in if you have an H some long thing of putting something together it may be smart and not to put in Jump Cuts especially when you're trying to do a tutorial telling people how to put them together
@yuvallahav2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for you input, I'm sorry the moment you've needed wasn't on video, but this is not a tutorial but a personal experience video, and it was kept as short as possible, yet with most of the construction shown. you can't win them all! Yuval

@yuvallahav Жыл бұрын
That's a bummer... but if you have a couple of good hands (or just the regular set of two...) and a hobby shop somewhere near, you can always fabricate replacement parts, or do like me and slap some superglue on broken pieces and reuse them... :) Yuval
