Good for you man! No reason to live in fear of being shot, period. That's got to be so mentally draining it's hard to even comprehend how much it would affect your mental state.

Y’all got an extra room? I feel the same way. We’re going to be home schooling and living off the grid. It’ll be tough, but not as tough as losing my son. Thank you for the great art over the years, been a fan for a decade. Be blessed, sometimes you have to make a decision even when it’s complicated or when nobody else agrees. That’s just life, plus we live in a very different time then 1950’s America when the economy was actually livable. Anyway, I’ll spare the rant. Thanks again AJ

i think many think their own country is the best or one of the best, but you re right pretty much every country has its flaws. i mean im from germany and live in germany. i can say here noone has to fear having no food and having no acess to clean water etc or having no shelter but i think we re living in a really capitalistic way. other countries value social stuff more and so on. i really like to see how people live in spain for example or france, italy and so on. its inspirational and also makes one think : "why we dont change that a bit in that way" :) have a good time !

Good to hear you're less inclined to talk politics, I was turned off from your videos a few years ago when you'd go on constant Trump-derangement tangents but I might resub at some point because you're really good at what you do.

I used to be an enthusiastic supporter of the Sandanista revolution but later I was not so sure because I learned about stuff like corruption and the like. A bit like in Animal Farm by George Orwell, after the revolution the corruption sets in. I still think the revolution was a good idea but I guess human nature fails and things do not turn out as intended. So I am more sceptical and in two minds about politics. However, I've watched your video about learning art, How to Study, and I think it is really good.

The main thing I appreciatie is the identification that it isn't that Nicaragua or other countries aren't necessarily better, but different. Being American definitely has its privileges, but that doesn't mean other places don't have them. Also being American in other places also has cool privileges at times.

Australia just had a huge election change towards greener candidate's and independent parties. This is possible thanks to our voting system, something Americans don't have. Be aware though that America's passport laws require you to still pay American income tax. A reason so many are relinquishing their passports!! Good luck with the move! Love your work, your philosophy and wish you and your family the best.

Interesting listen, even as I am not faced with these issues myself. I'm so used to accepting that people from the US simply have very different values than me, and thus view some things that are basic human rights to me as wheels in the larger economy that need to keep turning undisturbed. It sounds almost weird to hear someone from US talking about these issues with more than "it is what it is". Do you consider your stance as part of a small minority or is it simply that there is no place for real change in your current political, climate, as one might put it (two party system)? Those clouds looked majestic man. 3 American stereotypes for me: - Lots of guns, unsafe streets to walk at night. - Lots of sugar, people are either fat or fit. - Medical issues approached with reactive, rather than preventive attitude. If you don't have considerable income, you do not want to visit hospital without a serious condition. Obviously very black & white and don't really mean anything, just what came to mind when you mentioned it.

hey broh. I lived in Australia and in all over south america. At the end I came back to my home country Argentina. Its all the same. Its dangerous to live there. To many drugs cartels. If you have the money and the resources leave RN come to live to Argentina. Its the safest country in SouthAmerica. Free health care and free education. No terrorism. No mass shooting. People respect the law. People are more educated and respectfull Argentina. The only problem here is that people tend to be really racist towards people of color. Because most of the society here descents from Europeans. If you can pass that your kids will grow in a safe country with free health care and free education.
