Worked well on my 2019 CR-V. Good job! The front wipers are a dream. On my first attempt, the rear wiper was in backwards and didn't swipe clean. Reversed it and all is well.

For extra safety I place a folded towel on the windshield until I'm finished reinstalling the wiper blades, just in case I fumble finger the job. :) Good video, Thanks.

On which side will be the tiny bump be once the inserts are attached to the blade assembly. Is it on the roof side or bonnet side if the blades are positioned vertically, I tried the inserts and it seems to work both ways. Thank you for the great video.

I put it back to the same side I took it out of. I think they fit either way but I didn't try it. Just give it a pull check after to make sure it locked in place... Cheers! Rob

Good video on the front refills. I find the rear of my 2017 CRV has a different style with two integral metal strips that have to be transferred. The disconnect mechanism is also different in the rear.

I ordered the parts and when I received them they had given me the whole rear wiper and not just the refill. Seems odd that it's different but that's the automotive industry for ya LOL!

@@robsgaragewoodworkin The Honda refills are still a deal, maybe $23 on ebay for all three versus $75 or more for three complete blades and wipers. It just takes more skill to use the rear insert.

What's the difference between buying these refills and buying a whole new wiper blade? Is it just the money savings? Will I get the same quality as if I was to but a whole new set?

The factory wiper blades are good quality and these are better performing in summer and winter than the aftermarket replacements. Instead of buying the whole wiper assembly you can just buy refills. This is a cheaper option. Also from an environmental standpoint you aren't wasting as many resources by using refills. After a few years, if your blades don't perform as well as they used to then I would change the whole wiper assembly and get a new set. It's really up to you. I'm just showing this particular option as many people don't know that wiper blades can be refilled. Thanks for your comment! Enjoy your Civic! Cheers! Rob

That's weird. Do you mean the rubber wiper blade locking in the wiper or the wiper assembly in the wiper arm?
