the Isely brothers have been with me all my life I'm in my 50s. This particular Group at the time of this song was the 3+3 meaning 3 of the original line up the older Isely Bros plus the 2 younger bros and brother-in-law Chris jasper. The younger Group members produced and crafted the music that dominated the Mid 70s thru the 80s and They all sang with Ron as the main Front man. we even got to see the younger ones form a new Group with Chris jasper as the Front man and they had a string of hits with Caravan of love and Insatiable woman. The older bros still did there thing too as they continued to record various records, we even heard the oldest brother Okelly Isely before he passed lead a song where you couldn't tell him from Ronald!!! that's how talented this group is. Till this day they can still serve some heat lol and they do as they evolved with the times. So thankful for their music has inspired me.

Guys, there is a deep rabbit hole of great music from the Isleys! The original three brothers had a very different sound in the 50's and 60's. The best known is probably "Shout!" because the Beatles covered it, but my favorite is a romantic upbeat song, This "Old Heart of Mine".
