I would turn on the WJLB radio station out of Detroit on a Sunday morning. It was one of the greatest R&B stations, and did a slow groove across my floors at home to start my day. Yes, this one was also one of my faves. I have to admit. I had a crush on Patti back then . That was my church Sunday morning. Some God sent soulful sounds. It brought me closer to heaven. There are no more powerful voices in the music industry than Patti and Aretha, The land of the Queens ,there is no other voice outside of Aretha Franklin that can touch these women. My favorite Patti song is “You are my Friend” I also love “Isn’t it a Shame” done with her first group Labelle. If you find live versions that would be great. But the recorded versions are very good too! You will be falling out of your chair.

Patti has her pies @ Walmart & while I am not a fan of retail the 🥧. 1 I am not mad @ her for cashing in & making 🏦 💰🤑.
