When people are like "I wish I was born in the era to experience The Beatles or Led Zeppelin at their height." That's how I feel about Guns N' Roses. "there was a time" is a hidden gem of this band. believe me im musician. it contains the highest axl rose note he sang in his career. but in that album slash was not in the band. it's another guitar player who is so technical.

From the same time period: "I Remember You" by Skid Row Live at Wembley Stadium (they were on tour with Guns N Roses during that performance and mention GNR at the beginning)... it's an AWESOME song and performance!! ;)

Jordan: I haven't heard the whole song though. Me: and you still haven't, this is the Radio Edit. 😢 Check the video/song length and go with the LP (long play) one. The instrumental interludes are longer and make the song vibe better. 🔥🤘🏽🔥🤘🏽

Great reaction guys! If you love GNR, keep a lookout because they will be going on tour and they are better now than back in the day… I saw Them two years ago and sobriety has done them well!

Slash was doing the opening riff as an exercise when Izzy started playing along. Unbeknownst to them, Axel was upstairs writing the lyrics to it.

Glad that you guys enjoyed this video so much. You guys forgot to talk about the other band members, especially Izzy Stradlin,, the second guitar player. He is as important as Slash. After he left Guns N' Roses he formed his own band and had a song called "Shuffle It All" I hope you guys review it someday. The song was about starting your life over and also about his "old friends out there" which he obviously was talking about Guns N' Roses.

I was in high school when this song was released. It was one of my favorites! Fast forward to the time my kids were in late elementary and middle school; Guitar Hero was invented! I can’t tell you how many hours my husband and I played this song with our boys!!! We would have family playoffs at family gatherings. This song will always be special to me. Love to watch you guys!

I think it’s kinda cool that the last lyrics in the song are “where do we go” because they didn’t know what else to say or how to end song so they just sang “where do we go” till the end.

Singer Axl Rose wrote SWEET CHILD O' MINE for his ex-wife Erin Everly. They had a short-lived marriage. They dated for longer than they were married. Erin Everly is the daughter of Don Everly of the Everly Brothers. Funny thing, Axl Rose had a better relationship with Don Everly than his own daughter did. Last I heard of Erin, she still goes to Axl's shows when his tours hit her town.

When this album came out I was going to school in Atlanta. I loved it, so during break I took the tape back home to share with my friends. The town I was from was about 6 months behind the big cities when it came to music. I told my friends that GnR were going to be big and played the tape for them. They thought it was crap....but the next break I came for a visit, they were all into it lol
