I love when you say, "great legs". People often make fun of Axl's short shorts, but I think it's badass. It shows his epic level of confidence and swagger in his body and presence. Most other male musicians or performers don't have the balls, or legs, to pull it off.

I saw GnR in 92 in Houston. With a lifetime of concerts from 81 to date, they still top the list. They were amazing
@vinniedixon11405 ай бұрын
The song is about when Axl broke up with a girl he dated that is actually tattooed on his arm. The same girl also dated original GNR rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin. It was the first song ever written by GNR when the band formed in 1985.
@JM_daDoc4 ай бұрын
You could be mine was already halfway done in 1983. Some old parts were written down earlier...

Also, many people might not realize that it was the girl who was telling Axl "don't cry", because he was becoming so emotional when they were breaking up.

Then smoked cigarettes all day lol 😝 I love Rock n Roll
@michaeljfoley14 ай бұрын
Yeah, I almost think of Axl as a rock n roll athlete, given how much he tended to run around the stage. His level of physical performance, while singing as he did, boggles my mind.
@kerenolivero70975 ай бұрын
Awesome reaction :) GnR always rock. Their live performances have always been more raw than their album versions which are more smooth/ polished, so you can always get some of both worlds. Axl also has a lot of energy (to this day he still runs on stage). Also, since Axl has gone through a lot of trauma in his life, I think he really used to put some of his pain/ anger into his live performances, and it is certainly felt while watching & listening to him. Nowdays, he is a lot happier & calmer (he has worked through his anger issues, and turned his life around, for the better), so his happiness is clearly felt during GnR's performances in later years. I love all of it from all the various GnR eras. Regarding Axl's clothes, he has always been unique & he does change it up from time to time. the concert shorts are an early 90's clothes era for him. Please react to more GnR :)

I seen Guns N’ Roses perform live outdoors in Sydney Australia in 1993 as part of their “USE YOUR ILLUSION” tour. Probably one of the best concerts that I’ve been to in my life and let’s just say I have been to somewhere over 500 concerts in my lifetime. And even though I am now well over 50 I’ve already seen well over 30 concerts this year alone including probably the last tour by Belinda Carlisle and also Olivia Rodrigo on her guts tour I also have tickets for early next year to see Billie Eilish on her current tour when she gets to Australia and my friend ✨Aurora✨ this will be the 29th concert of hers I have been to having followed her to many countries to watch her perform and hang out with her afterwards which has been a highlight in my life. The great thing about seeing Guns N’ Roses during that tour was that it was when they were still very relevant and still in the charts in a major way with many great songs being performed. I see Metallica a couple of years before that and they were amazing too.

The music video is awesome. A bit more polished. This is actually part of a trilogy of ballards. Dont Cry, November Rain and Estranged. In this order. It tells a story of love, heartbreak, loss and grief. Estranged is Guns N Roses most epic song. Comma is another epic song. One of their darkest songs IMO.

Best presentation, best show I've ever seen, they're not from my generation, but I had the DVDs, CDs and playlist of all the songs by the band Guns N' Roses. This live show in Tokyo was the best in every way, stage presence, well presented images, the peak of the band at its best, they even made Rock in Rio here in Brazil spectacular, my mother was and without a doubt one of my favorite bands and I am very inspired by Slash to play the guitar (even though it is pentatonic, but it is a scale that he knows how to use very wisely, for example, Sweet Child Mine is weak at playing scales, but he knows how to play and uses this pentatonic scale as nobody ) great work on the reaction, I agree with everything you said, a hug from Brazil and a reaction tip for Gabriel Henrique on America Got Talent where he won the gold button and is recognized as one of the best singers in the world, if you react, you won't be disappointed. Hugs from Brazil, Nova Friburgo/RJ.

There will never be another singer/showman like Axl; a true one of a kind. You should watch their live version of Civil War with the Voodoo Child intro by Slash

Axl strode through the tones and timbres in this performance, he was really good, the low tones were pleasant to listen to and the high tones were furious, with a lot of power, his running around the stage didn't distract him. The whole band was very harmonious in this show.

There was something special about the original Guns N' Roses - they were honest and wrote from the heart and from real experiences... and they did not give a flying f+++ what u thought about them... They were also f+++ed up from drinking and using drugs, and they made no attempt to hide that fact... They wrote songs about the fast life ('Mr. Brownstone' ... 'Night train' ... 'Rocket queen' ... "It's so easy") but they also had their moments of vulnerability w/ songs like "Sweet child o' mine"... 'Patience' ... 'Think about you' ... "Don't cry"... L.A. bands that knew them called Guns N' Roses 'the real deal' cos they lived the reckless life and it put them a step above everyone else. It was a pity that the original GNR did not last... W. Axl Rose (vocals), Slash (lead guitar), Duff McKagan (bass), Izzy Stradlin (rhythm guitar) and Steven Adler (drums)... drugs, egos and infighting tore the band apart in a few years. Steven Adler was fired in 1990 for abusing drugs which left him unable to play in the studio... Izzy Stradlin quit in 1991 feeling 'oppressed' by Axl Rose's demands and feeling like he would be unable to maintain his sobriety in a band that was abusing drugs and alcohol on tour... Slash was fired in 1996 after a bitter falling out w/ Axl Rose and Duff McKagan left shortly after... All that potential was wasted. Axl, Slash and Duff reunited in Guns N' Roses and are still touring... However, new music from Guns N' Roses is still slow to come... Slash and Duff McKagan have released solo albums under various names.

Axl always seems to be underrated in the vocals greats. Same with slash nowadays too. Gnr were a fresh sound when appetite came out in 87. Hi Aileen 😊 Absolutely fabulous reaction to Guns n' Roses Don't Cry 😊👍 After watching your reaction with no audio and reading the transcript at work yesterday, I got home and watched the reaction a couple times, went to bed, and then watched again this morning. First, I read all the comments because I wanted to see how everyone reacted to you coming back after a while and there is so much love for you which is very very heartening. To your question about the substances and libations backstage during that time period, I would say cocaine for making you feel like a Superman and maybe Mr Jack's old number 7 to start with for some liquid courage. You're mention of dragging on a cigarette by playing guitar looking really cool and also mentioned in the comments by fellow KZbinr... Eddie Van Halen was one that did that back in the seventies and I'm sure inspired others as well going forward. As and a side note... I would say nicotine is another juice that performers and songwriters used to heighten their creativity and energy. Others in the comments singled out your presentation as a whole from the choice of your wardrobe, your style, your creativity, your mannerisms, and your confidence in speaking your mind as to what you feel, hear and see in the video. After all, what the visitor is coming to see is a reaction and this is how you yourself react. This is what makes you special and the best and very unique. All the recommendations are fantastic 😊👍 And as always I look forward to your reactions 😊👍 I have to agree with a lot of them in the comments that the next reaction to Guns n' Roses should be the song Estranged to complete the trilogy story since you have now experienced Don't Cry and November Rain. Have a great day you and Arya with much love 😊👍💪❤️
