Amazing energy and good time vibes from all sides, some shows they even set up a stage out in the middle of the crowd for a couple of songs. By the way, Joe Perry was NOT doing " Angus moves", it's Angus doing "Joe Perry moves" thank you very much. Joe has some of the best stage moves in the biz, and shows them every night, as does Steven "The Demon of Screamin' "Tyler.

When I was in high school in the mid to late 80's (Class of '89), Aerosmith was that rare band that had a huge back catalog of classic albums and hits going back 10 to 15 years while they were still pumping out (pun intended) great new music that was all over Top 40 radio. These songs from "permanent Vacation", "Pump" and "Get A Grip" were all over the radio and MTV. There weren't many bands that had that kind of comeback after they imploded in the late 70's/early 80's.

This particular tune reminds me of morning drive time on the streets and freeways in L.A. in the early 90s. It has such a strong “let’s get this day started!” vibe to it. I did see Aerosmith in concert, in August 1988, when Guns ‘n Roses opened for them, and Steven Tyler was just mind-blowing. That guy was an absolute workhorse of a performer, just busting his tail working the crowd! It was a real joy to witness.

Aerosmith managed to recover from their self-destructive substance abuse issues that nearly finished them off. The late 80s brought us a band just as good (and maybe more determined) than the 70s version that started things off. That said, my favourite Aerosmith song has always been "Walk This Way" from 1975 . Killer riff, and Steven Tyler tells us about being "down on a muffin".

Got to see them in '93 shortly after this video. They were considered an old band, all in their 40s by this point. But they brought it, just like in the video. It was said with a pedometer on, Steven Tyler would clock at least 5 miles on stage every night. Hand stands, monkey bars, the whole nine yards. Part of the reason for his leg and feet troubles now. But they put on an awesome show!

I saw them in concert a few times before he was born and then when he was old enough, it was always our thing to go see them every time they were within about a 100 mile radios. How many times have I seen them? I have NO idea! I've always wanted to take my (now 21 yr old) kid to see them but the opportunity has not happened yet. Hopefully one day before it's too late. In the 80's they did NOT have the internet... they had to make tapes , work high school auditoriums, local hockey rinks bars, any way you could to build up repuration, To hit all the local radio stations with tapes adds in radio papers to promote themselves. I think this is why there are so many GREAT bands rom the 80's they really loved and were passionate about their craft.. this is WHO they ARE,, on stage and off, and Ive heard this from every band I toured with 'If you love what you do,,, it NEVER gets OLD... {and it keeps you young too} and why they last decades with the same performance energy show after show...

To answer your question: Steven Tyler was 40+ when this video was shot, (born 1948). Not a lot of people acknowledge the producers behind their favourite records, but Bruce Fairbairn (RIP) deserves some extra love: Not only did he produce Aerosmith’s classic comeback albums, Permanent Vacation (1987) and Pump (1989), and brought them a level of success they’d never had before, but he produced Bon Jovi’s breakthrough album Slippery When Wet. Notable in his production is the prevalence of a horn section, something that wasn’t very common in hard rock of the day - (his first instrument was the trumpet, so he probably had a bias for horns). Unfortunately we lost him way too soon in 1999. By then, his assistant Bob Rock had picked up his mantle though and produced some of the best-selling rock albums of the late 80s and early 90s, like Metallica’s Black Album and Motley Crue’s Dr Feelgood.

I have been a personal friend of the entire band since the mid 80s. It would not be violating their anonymity to say that we all cleaned up around the same time. I worked in multiple clubs in and around the Boston/Cambridge area where they got their start. I was there when Joe left the band and formed the Joe Perry Project. I was there when they made their big come back. I have probably seen them in concert more than any other band. Both from the audience and back stage. My favorite memory was New Years 1988 at Steve's place in Cambridge. I can say without a doubt that when these guys are gone the will be a hole in the musical world that will never be filled. Wings Up.

Seen Aerosmith 3 times, ALWAYS the best, they are my favorite band. The Rockin Rollercoaster is my favorite ride at Disney World too! It was my dream to ride it with Steven Tyler (front row of course) and have him sing the music from the ride while riding it.

Aerosmith was the first show I ever saw, 1977. And the last show I ever saw....2022 in Las Vegas. They still put on the best show EVER.

Jay, you're right! You definitely get your money's worth at an Aerosmith show. I've gotten to see them multiple times in the 2000s and they were amazing!

Saw Aerosmith in the 90s on New Years Eve at the old Boston Garden. They put on a 3 hour show and rocked out every minute.

Yes Aerosmith is always a great show, started going to see them in the early 70's & continued to see through the years. Always great unless the twins where to toxic. I seen one of those shows in the 70's. But it never stopped me from going back, because I knew how great they could be & they were. Always one of my favorite bands, especially the early years.
