Their song "Dig" literally makes me cry. My boyfriend was an alcoholic and succumbed to organ failure in 2019. He would send me songs often that he felt embodied his thoughts and feelings and how he felt about me.

I let fear and anxiety run my entire life, so bad that I never got my driver's license. The metaphorical point of driving and life control was so strong; it moved me to get my license that year, at 40 years olds, and I've been driving and controlling my life ever since. Thanks Incubus! 👍

Incubus is a special band. The whole morning view album needs a listen. For individual songs, I recommend strongly Nice To Know You, Dig, Pardon Me (one of my top faves), Stellar, Warning (another top fave!), Wish You Were Here was a huge hit but overplayed so it lost its sparkle for me. Are You In? is also fun. I could honestly keep going, this bands lyricism is special and even better for me now in my 30s.

In the nineties, it was a big deal to always have a designated driver if you were going out to parties or going to clubs so there would be no drunk drivers. The thing is, no one wanted to be the designated driver. People didn’t want to miss out. I’ve always loved this song though, because they’re saying you’re missing out if don’t choose water over wine and drive.

You two are my fave reactors. This song holds a special place in my heart and watching you react to this was a reminder I needed. I am a breast cancer survivor diagnosed in 2/2019 and had a “cornerman” (as he called himself during my battle. Anyway he passed away unexpectedly 3/2020 and I swear music save me from the grief of the loss of him. This song in particular, after listening to it over and over, brought me so much peace and realization I’m the driver going forward. It’s so easy to get caught up in just coasting through life again and I needed the reminder I’m still the driver. Thank you both for sharing yourselves with us ❤

Wholly underrated band you should definitely look into. , My favorites from them in order: "Dig", "Anna Molly", "Warning", "Megalomaniac", "Stellar", "Make A Move", "Nice To Know You", "Wish You Were Here", "Pardon Me" & "11 AM". Brandon Boyd, the lead singer, has some other musically gifted relatives. His brother Jason Boyd, sang for the band Audiovent, most well known for their song "The Energy", and their cousin, Berto Boyd, is a fantastic flamenco guitarist. Speaking of flamenco guitarist, you'd definitely enjoy Rodrigo y Gabriela, that duo is fire and pretty much never misses with their musical output.
