My mom and dad loved this song. He'd twirl her around the living room, and I'd sit and watch them. Same thing to Al Green, and Barry White. The 70's had great music.

One of the advantages of 70's radio was the mix they would play. The same station that played Al Wilson, played The Carpenters and Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Bee Gees.

Amber, you're correct--the 60's and the 70's are considered THEE golden eras of (then called) soul music. And with no auto-tune. Most of the R&B of today just can't hold a candle to the voices and songwriting of old. Plus, there was a wealth of it back then! After listening to the music, i hope you can understand why , i know you can't go back and see how things were but at least you can get a taste of what we listen to .
