Rob, thanks so much for posting this. This particular episode was written by Ron Sproat, who later wrote for Never Too Young's replacement, Dark Shadows. He later adapted this episode for Shadows with the addition of some supernatural elements.

Sybil Weinberger arranged the music for this one. Hence the DS-like quality.

This is such a great and unusual soap opera episode for its time. It's hard to say since we have access to only a fraction of anything from 1950s to the early 1970s, but I wonder if any other 30-minute soap had done a whole episode carried by one character except for the beginning and end. NTY is really a soap that I'd love to see the entire run of, if it's still out there. Thank you so much for posting the episodes that you have!

I was 14 when this show ran. I used to watch it while folding my newspapers before delivering the Los Angeles Herald Examiner. I really enjoyed it and was disappointed when it went off the air. I vividly remember this episode and all subsequent episodes related to Joy allegedly killing Burt Stryker. Fortunately Joy was found innocent when the real killer was revealed.

Hello Rob, thank you for posting these. Would you by any chance have the episode where Simon & Garfunkel play the Sounds of Silence? If I remember correctly, that should be 19 December 1965. Would love to see it!

@@robwargo Damn! It was worth a try. There's a picture floating around, but I'm not sure the actual video footage survived. facebook.com/simonandgarfunkelnews/posts/2725429057539948

Thanks Man ! Is there a DVD of the entire series? I'd love it if they included the ads as you have. They're as evocative as the show itself. By the way, the theme song reminds me of the theme for The Young Ones. Congratulations on this Search For Lost Time !
