I was born in England lived in West Germany in the 70's before moving to Canada for the last 42 years as a RAF military brat. Always loved bands and singers whose first language was not English but sang songs in English with a unique take on the language and accent. Examples such as ABBA, AHA. Golden Ear ring, Roxette RIP, and Robyn. Forgive any spelling as it is 11 PM and I am enjoying a rusty nail. Music has no boundaries only people who love to listen.

It’s funny because she’s been around for well over 20yrs and has been putting out killer music this whole time. There’s so many good artists out there that just slip through the cracks sometimes. I’m always finding ‘new’ music to listen to and most of the time finding out they’ve been around for a decade or multiple decades and wonder how I’ve never heard them before.

Love this girl, she is quite refreshing, even after having been around for more than a decade. I do not get the whole two drummer thing, is it merely for the visual appeal of a live show? Both seem to be playing the same beat, anyway what a great artist, I hope the roll she is on after "SNL" and "Girls" continues for her. Well done lady!

Omg I see comments everywhere of how she is old and I was wondering she can't be that old. She looks in her late 20s early 30s, and I researched and she will just turn 36!! How the hell is that old!! People need to know definition of old!!!! Over 50s or 60s is old. She is a bloody young.

Who the fuck cares how old any singer is as long as they can sing?! Stupid kids these days thinking eyecandy makes a difference, thats why it's so hard to find such good music nowadays compared to the 1980's when no one cared how old you were or what you looked like as long as you could sing.... Regardless, this woman can sing, so I don't care how old she is!

@halberkstresser Okay so you really don't think the second drummer makes any difference whatsoever in the sound of the drums? I like that there are two drummers, better to have a crisp live sound for the percussion instead of more backing tracks.

@halberkstresser Okay, are you deaf? Clearly they were going for a loud, reverby sound with the drums, and having two drummers on stage helped lend to that effect. Did you think they were just there for decoration or something?

She seems to have changed to be more feminim in older days, but when she was young Robyn in the beginning of her career she was know here in Sweden to be a little tomboyish. Not that something would be wrong with that, but I think that that's what's makes her the cool girl and all the things that you described of her today. Robyn is a girl that renews herself, can you agree that she was alittle tomboyish in her earlier years?

@halberkstresser Do you realize how difficult, time consuming, and costly it would be to set up all that equipment, and just for this one performance? No shame in being more practical and mixing backing tracks with live instruments. It's not like they played the MP3 over loud speakers and she was lip synching the whole time.

@Candyfan993 - I do realize - I do such things for a living myself....and it's part of bieng an actual performer. It's a shame people don't even expect truly live performances anymore, and in fact you are making excuses for performers like her - I guess it's an uphill battle to try and explain soul, but this is lacking just that to me....and in my opinion she isn't very far off from playing the mp3....there are like 4 tracks of her voice all at once...classic.

@bowiemott - you asked for examples of bands that perform all their parts and who don't play to backing tracks like this bullshit....i can list like 100 more if you like, regardless of if you LIKE the bands - they are actually performing musicians. I'd rather watch a shit band like Black Keys play live then a polished pop performance where only vocals are live, that is all
