I recall about 25 or so years ago my brother was friends with her when she was a young kid who came to London in early / mid 1990s and she was a full on RnB artist back then with bags of talent , attitude and cute with it

I saw this video my first time when it came out, I was 10 yrs back then... the setup with 2 drummers was it for me, and I completely fell in love with Robyns attitude, dance moves, style, care-free but yet very emotional aura... she is badass!

This appearance on Letterman was my introduction to Robyn and Dancing on My Own. Was blown away by the song and her performance. Been a fan ever since. “Dancing” is just a great piece of pop music. I read a review back in the day which referred to the song’s mythos as ‘blood on the dance floor.’ Pretty awesome, huh?

@Bertie Bassett: I respectfully disagree. For me the penultimate (and first) pop act was The Beatles. And I'd rather not have Perry and Swift in that category. What the two of them are doing has more in common with advertising than with pop. Real pop is never redundant like that. It might stand on the shoulder of giants - The Beatles did that too - but it always brings something interesting to the table. That's why I put stuff like Nirvana in the pop category. Three minute songs that make you either infatuated, inebriated or horny. Or even a tiny bit smarter than you were three minutes ago. Robyn? Definitely pop. Solid, clever contemporary pop.
